so hard to get nice planet ? every1 is in dp while those isnt always leave 3 lousy planets as borders. so i`m exploring for 900land barren to make a c2 but it is bore and it is a pain. 900land barren doesnt come easy and need to plunder each individual planets cost 5 turns. so i`m trying for 9000land u.large so i can cluster all lousy planets into a c2 and plunder them in 1 go but it is even more worst. u.large is even more rare and when i finally found it only 4-5k land. |

5 or 6 empires is nothing. Attack 500 empires & then we`ll talk ;-). I`ve just surpassed 1600 succesful attacks and I can assure you, I`ve captured a LOT of nice clusters: 5k C1`s, 25k C2`s and a LOT of U.Larges. Yes, it`s not the reward for every battle you win, but just imagine you having such nice clusters. Would you really leave them undefended & without borders? |

then get yourself a nice stock of artifacts, and make some gordos, and make that c2 nicer
or heck, get a single balanced planet, then gordo the heck outta it, and cluster it once it`s already like 20k+
live off a c1 that`s as large as some people`s c2`s and be happy.
or a nice Eden...

99+ day(s) ago | Yeah, I only keep 1k+ planets, and 10k+ U.Larges. There was a time when I`d give away smaller ones, but my fed leader said I wasn`t allowed to do it anymore when I joined his fed :P |

99+ day(s) ago | True everyone has to deal with this, but this is what makes the game fun, the rarity of big planets, try having standards like 1k per each barren or 10k per u large, i can easily say like tons of others here, that they have plundered 100`s of 900`s and many 9k+ larges =p |

99+ day(s) ago | Yep it`s not fun, but you can do it.... and once in a while you will win very nice planets... but with the number of players these days you definitely can`t count on it... so just put on some good music, get some good friends on msn... relax and explore away.... you will get there eventually. |

sorry to break this to you HappyKitty... this game hasn`t much changed for the past 6 yrs... you can see my exploration stats in RT... and i can tell you it`s never always an easy task to find good planets... it will take a thousand or two to at least find a decent u.large... in another words, you`ll need luck sometime in this game...
IF any of you new players doesn`t have the patience... this game isn`t for you all... i advise you all to stay off this game and find something else that suits the needs... |

But life takes patience and effort... if one fails, one must try again and again... many tasks in life are boring and repetitive... those that complain that life is too hard, and that they want things to be easier are those whom fail... those that sit there and explore until they get what they want are those whom succeed.
And trust me I Hate exploring more then most things... you ask any of my close mates who have been on msn with me through countless hours of exploring know how I feel about it the best... look up my empire and you will see I have explored for tons of hours.... but my point is that it`s only a huge part of the game to set up your account... once you`ve done it you never have to worry about it again.
It should not be made easier, not because it would be unfair to the older players, but because if it were easier then the value of land would be less.... and land is very important, having a lot of land is key to a wealthy empire (excluding mineral miner).... and wealth should not come too easily or it takes away from the game. I personally do not want to play a game where everyone becomes terribly rich without putting in their dues, which is what would happen if it were much easier to explore. |

old players of course dont want easier exploration they alrede hv their nice planets. it does abit unfair to old players who explore in this hard setup if new player get easy nice explore planets. but if thing keep on like this............. new players are either complaining or walk away quietly.......... not to provoke any1 here just to point out this maybe the thorn why so few new players sign up and glued to this game |

99+ day(s) ago | its something we`ve all dealt with. The first time is definitely the worst just stick through it and lower your standards a tad 800+ are a good bit more common than 900+. Like those before have said making good clusters is well worth it even if the future seems bleak for now. |

99+ day(s) ago | if i go mineral miner other ppl who want go with land would still suffer the same pain. my point is why not make more easier for every1 to find good planets then the new players can quickly move on to other thing. i hv spend 2 days exploring only get a 8k u.large. every1 in dp down here there isnt anything to do but exploring and research. the only large group of players not in dp is from rank 1 to 15. but need alot land to support fleet. ok huh no offend |

99+ day(s) ago | the technique to find good planets, explore with 1 turn per click... and IF you could do it while having +ve income, that would be better...
as a terran, at least with 3600 V2s can make you explore 1 turn per click until 32 planets... then plunder all useless planets and keep only u.larges to support your V2s` upkeep... do this until you can find at least 900++ barrens x 25 to make a lovely C2...
oh... pls do this while in DP... you don`t want your precious barrens will be taken away frm your loving arms... :P |

99+ day(s) ago | I wouldn`t plan on finding a large ever... some days you will find 10 of them, then you can go for months exploring every day before finding any at all.... You`re better off just sticking with barrens and keeping decent larges if you happen to find them. Yes it does take a long time to make decent clusters but once you finish them you never have to explore again, except for borders... it is well worth it.... and if it were any easier then it would devalue a decent cluster.... just put in the time and you will reap the benefits. If you aren`t willing to do this then you are playing the wrong game and you are probably going to fail at life. Good luck. |
