99+ day(s) ago | If you read the description of what the UW does, it`s really a galaxy wide mind control device, wiping out land wouldn`t make sense. *and if it ever was implemented, I`d be gone so fast there would be a flaming bit of code in the area my empire`s information is stored*
Now, using the same logic, the mind control could be used to make fleets wipe themselves out, as well as getting the populace to destroy stored resources, or even buildings on planets or the people themselves. Getting rid of infra research doesn`t make sense, though I guess getting rid of arties would, though again, if implemented, some more scorched coding. |

99+ day(s) ago | yeah i like my land even if i haven`t gordoed it. I could go for the infra effect except make the hosting fed exempt from losing infra just the 2/3s of resources as it is now. Also instead of 10% maybe like 10 lvls as thats still a fair amount of turns to replace. |

99+ day(s) ago | That`s the problem on this server. When someone pops an UW, the players with high planet counts make it all jack too fast. I think when an UW goes off you should lose 90% all resources and 10% in intfra as well as 10% in land mass. The fed hosting will receive less overall. Now watch RT band together or tear itself apart.
This was an unforeseen problem in the beginning years but the empires that have some of the old AOD clusters and those gordoed pose an imbalance as the game advances in the years to come. |
