Needed turn to finish Research in Normal and Slow server - decrease turns to be able to finish it earlier, considering the time in these two servers. - keep current rule |

Ragnarok 99+ day(s) ago | The answer is a larger player base. It used to be way harder to UW, and partly because you had more players to actually do significant damage to a UW. But the game has shrunk, which means that existing players can have a larger influence then they`re normally able to have. It also means more players to prevent a UW from happening in the first place.
Hopefully metastable`s android app will change this reality of the game and do the promotion and advertising that Stephen will probably never do. If he`s smart he`ll make 2 versions, a free version with basic stuff and then a paid version with mods similar to what Anfit offers. He could even negotiate a revenue sharing promotion deal with Stephen if players he refers end up buying paids on the site.
So, help the guy out in anyway you can, as I really think that with some support this can help the game more than Stephen ever has. |

grantweep 99+ day(s) ago | well, the whole point of artis is to give someone a whole bunch of turns in a very short amount of time to kill a UW...if a UW was extended to about 20 days, you`d give people a lot more time to prepare themselves to either take over the ranks, or just hit the UW repeatedly - which, trust me: does a whole lotta dmg if you are allowed to do it over 20 days.
just my 2 cents, because DIG TIMES WILL NEVER BE CHANGED...I`m just trying to think of a pragmatic solution here that doesn`t require stephen :P
omeg: I don`t find it very fun or strategic when your UW is going well and some dude who digs everyday burns 20 BTCs while you are sleeping and kills you. Nor do I think it`s fun or strategic when someone`s UW looks like it`s going to fail, but they use 20 BTC to rebuild a fresh UW fleet again. |

EnderWiggin 99+ day(s) ago | Longer UW time (say 72 hours) would have very little effect on arti use in my opinion. Seeing as time is no barrier to arti use (you can spam your BTC`s and do your big hit in the first hour if you choose), the only difference that prolonging it would do is give the server that many more standardly generated turns. And on Slow/Normal Server its not as hardcore as RT... you don`t have to stay online the whole time... not even close. Get on once every few hours for a couple hours you`ll be able to accomplish anything you need to and communicate what you need... |

That is why this game has its moments of it being actually fun to play becasue of the level of difficulty and opposition and suprises. If we did it without btcs its based on who holds the ranks the best which is already a joke on most servers thus more successful uws in my opinion.
I rather keep btcs and stuff, it would be nice to change the dig times, but meh ill sacrifice sleep once in a whiel to dig |

He`d stand on a rock while praying, so that if he started falling asleep he`d fall off, then get back on and continue praying. Can`t remember the guy`s name though, maybe after a night`s sleep I`ll remember :P |

the point is: UWs shouldn`t be about who can stay up the longest, on TB servers because that`s just lame.
the fact that someone can BTC and destroy your entire fleet within 1 hour of you starting a UW is already lame...and takes away from the whole server mentality. I`d like to see the onus being on ALL players on a server to stop a UW, not just the hardcore players with insane incomes and huge BTC stashes like the way it is right now.
thus my suggestion of removing btc and drastically extending the time it takes to complete a UW :P |

Just fyi the amount of time someone can go without sleep is about 11 days. If they don`t get sleep at that point they do in fact die. |
Omegian 99+ day(s) ago | Eh, keep artifacts. The timer for 48 hours on slow is fine with artifacts. My UW kind of proved a much stronger resistence than seen in many past UWs since like last year.
72 hours, pfft. With enough sleep and food before hand you can do up to 72 hours no sleep before your heart kinda of gives lol.

no one can stay awake for 3 days and still be functioning...this is why I proposed the following suggestion: make UWs on slow last for like 20 days, and take all BTCs outta the equation. As long as people followed the honor system, this wouldn`t even take stephen`s approval to implement. |
Conquers 99+ day(s) ago | the main issue on slow server like Ender and others have said, the UW is too generic to apply to slow server, 72 hours would be good(maybe a bit too long), so that way its not a battle of artifacts and it is a test of skill |

GradualIncline 99+ day(s) ago | I get up early for the rare dig most days (those I don`t hit my sleep button anyway :P ) but these days it`s not that much of an pain, since I leave my house for school right afterwards, While at the school I dig the uncommon times. I`ve gotten a lot more gordos in the last month than the whole summer, where I was working for pretty much the whole digging period. |

Its really not that difficult and easily to take down with the right co-ordination. I dont see scaling as an issue really, my Slow UW kind of shows we dont need scaling |
