why haven`t food prices dropped to 2 on normal yet? the market is maxed out at 5. I for one, will not buy this overpriced food :P |

99+ day(s) ago | It`s only a matter of time before food producers start maxing out on food stores and are forced to juggle food on the market or sell lower.
It already happened once with a huge posting of 1b food on the market. Only a matter of time before it happens again. Eventually someone is going to break this silent agreement and prices will plunge to 2 per unit because of the excess of food that builds up. Prices will then stay at these depressed levels for a least a good 8 months, if not 2 years. Right now, taxers are probably spawning and small food producers are contemplating dropping out of the game. It`ll take a good 6-8 months for them to start to mature. Once a balance is achieved, or the pendulum swings the other way in favor of food producers again, prices will steadily rise unless a UW occurs.
Then it`s back to food prices of 12-15 again. If you`re going to wait it out for 3 years, you`ll probably be richly rewarded. Of course, all of this assumes that the game is still around by then. =/ |
