Chaosmoose 2010-08-03 | | 2 questions on GC | | 1: is the mineral sales cap per order 9,999,999? if so, where do all those 200m mineral sales come from? npc? If not, how do I sell 200m at a time?
2. When virals attack/defend and capture enemy ships, does the pr increase count towards the result? The attacker wins if he loses less pr than the defender and vice versa. If a viral attacker loses more pr than the defender but captures enough ships to have lower net pr loss, does the viral attacker win?
3. What`s the mission reward for having 300 planets as A Miner? |

Chaosmoose 99+ day(s) ago | guess my last question could`ve been answered by looking at the attack restrictions window. this next one might be found somewhere obvious as well but I just don`t see it:
When UWs go off and when people complete the final mission, there`s supposedly a hall of fame list those people go on. Where is that list? |
NiHiLiM 99+ day(s) ago | Power rating restrictions:-
- IF your target/enemy is ranked 5 and above
- Up to 100% below your power rating
- Up to 200% above your power rating
- IF your target/enemy is ranked below 5
- Up to 30% below your power rating
- Up to 50% above your power rating |
Chaosmoose 99+ day(s) ago | Thx for all the answers so far. Here`s another:
Do attacking restrictions change for the top 5 players? I was asked by people to drop pr so someone else would be on the top 5. |
GradualIncline 99+ day(s) ago | I believe you got them all there Sibi, but of course I could be wrong *goes back to sleep* |
Sibiriangun 99+ day(s) ago | As far as I remember the paid ships are:
neutral: Leo, Broadsword and King
Terran: Fenrir
Viral: Cronus
marauder: Thresher
Miner: Sapphire
collective: Corsair
Guard: Hun Zen |
Chaosmoose 99+ day(s) ago | The thread about losing ships gave me the idea to ask another question:
What ships do each race lose when their paid runs out? Is there a list or should we compile one from different people`s memories. |
GradualIncline 99+ day(s) ago | Also, I`m a well known source for high loyalty planets on RT, I tend to create them when someone comes asking, though I won`t pop out of dp to give it to them, since that`s illegal, they have to get on whenever I come out naturally on the right day to get them, and the quality of planet that loyalty goes on is whatever one it happens to go on, sometimes okay, sometimes not. Back when I had my Juicy Rewards fed though I would post on the forum what I had to give away, and those were usually 800 or 900+ land barrens with maxed loyalty. Now a days I don`t have the time, though we`ll see when I get back to university in a couple weeks. |
Seventeen 99+ day(s) ago | this has turned into 20 questions :P
no, it`s just guardians ( : |
Chaosmoose 99+ day(s) ago | o wow didn`t realize that. Are there other races not allowed to boost loyalty either? |
PistolPete 99+ day(s) ago | Yep. Guards has two ways to gain loyalty on their clusters. Either they must capture a high loylaty planet or do the missions.
The way most guards aim to do is to find some nice planets/clusters with 5000 loyalty on. This is of course halfed when you capture the planet/clsuter, so that you can have 2500 loyalty on your colonies. Then once you got a nice amount of land with max loyalty you should do the missions. This will add about 1200 (cant remember the exact number) to you planets, so that you will end at about 3700 loyalty.
If you happen to capture a max loyalty planet from another empire and you want to cluster it, but preserve the loyalty this is also possible. What you need to do is to disband all the pop at the planets with lower loyalty. Then the loyalty at the only planet with population is carried on to the cluster. |
intensity 99+ day(s) ago | guards cant reward their population, so anything with high loyalty is a target |
Chaosmoose 99+ day(s) ago | nice answers so far. 1 more question:
I hear a lot of talk from guardians about drooling over high loyalty planets/clusters. Is it just because of the number of turns required to make them or are guards not allowed to boost loyalty? |
Apoapsis 99+ day(s) ago | 1. no
2. they disappear |
Chaosmoose 99+ day(s) ago | ok 2 more questions:
1. If I restart my empire, do i keep my current artifacts?
2. If I put a lot of minerals on the market for sale then restart empire, what happens to those sale orders? Do they disappear or do they stay on the market and the money just disappears or will my restarted empire get the money? |
GradualIncline 99+ day(s) ago | no, it`ll expire, that`s why there are plenty of people who will attack a bunch of targets, then hide in vacation for 10 days when they run low on borders to prevent losing their good planets in retaliation attacks. There has been discussion on this, and plenty of people want it changed so that the timer stops, but I think it would take Stephen, the game`s creator to code it, and he`s not likely to do it, nor let anyone else have the power to do it. |
Chaosmoose 99+ day(s) ago | ehh ok. Another question:
If I have a retal on a player that goes into vacation mode for 10 days, will the weekly retal timer pause and resume afterwards or will it expire? |
Seventeen 99+ day(s) ago | It would just count the number of planets you have so you can have unusual sized C3s.
25+25+25+16+16= 107 planet C3. it would just be a regular c3 with less planets ( : |
Chaosmoose 99+ day(s) ago | thx for the answers so far. Heres another question:
I captured an infected c.3 and disinfected it, I got a regular cluster 2. My planet count shows only a 16 planet increase. I understand that a c.3 infected planet is only 16 planets. My question is, if I use the disinfected cluster 2 to make a cluster 3, will that cluster 3 have 125 planets or 116? |
