Hey everyone...I feel that this UW definitely deserves a thank you thread. One of the most contested TB UWs in recent times I feel...
A quick recap for those who weren't online the full 48 hours with me: UW began quite smoothly and according to plan. Lost something like 17% of my lakko and some dmg to lower stacks in the first 24 hours. I was being hit mostly by thor leads from terran players like snafu and VALJA :P (Many others though, they just attacked me the most). Things were going smooth. Then, 24 hours into the UW, Katzrule decides to spice things up. With none of my defenders online, he BTCs up to 120 mil PR and hits me with a lyth spam. I frantically try to historia him, but in the end he pulls off his hit and I lose 100 mils worth of lakko - all the lakko I have. Stuck in DP, with a lot of people wanting a piece of me and no artifacts of my own to rebuild my fleet, it was a miracle when DM stepped in and hit katzrule - buying me the time needed to find the artis and eventually converting to an angel/fodder/lakko trip spam.
At this point, I faced random attacks from many dedicated empires trying to dmg me as much as possible. By switching stacks though, I was able to catch a few people offguard and 3 empires ran huge queen leads straight into my lakko, missing my angels :)
During this phase, which lasted almost 17 hours...I lost around 50 mil PR...and went from 50/50/50 mil PR lakko/angel/fodder.....to 33/33/33.
THEN, while I was distracting myself...thinking that I had won the UW, Bobbyindustrialpat and duckberg, along with DarckKnight decide to strike. Bobby BTCs and takes the first hit and wipes my 33 mils worth of lakko. Duckberg BTCs as well, striking at me with a herc spam killing my angel. I lose two colonies and find myself in DP once again, without a fleet. |

Thanks to the defenders, who covered basically all my bases: the entire EoE team, particularly Gronoria, DrunkenMasters, PistolPete, Gilead, MastaKilla, and Grantweep; and also a few MKers, especially HAL9000.

Attacker who did the most damage: DarckKnight
Thanks to those attackers who were determined to put up a fight...and sorry to those whom we prevented from doing so.
Finally, just wanted to say this is a special UW for me because it completes a TB set - the 4 servers I play on. That also means it`s my oldest, at 755 days (newer empires take note). I had a very nice 48,719 land C.4 as well as a captured 16,593 land one. 98 levels of agriculture meant I was producing well over 800k food per turn.
I think that`s it on this "old" collective empire. Thanks again to all who made this UW possible! |

I had started more attacks. Bandits cought me building around 20M PR and stopped me. Loof was and is always a pain, so that may not be DM related. |

personally... your UW is the first i really hit without care for the losing streak... i never particpate much or at all in any UW b4 this... :P

99+ day(s) ago | To make matters worse, I get bombarded with historia from Darcknight. Fortunately, I was able to secure artifacts from various empires and rebuild a final 60 mil lakko! This marked the end of an amazing UW!!!! Even though various empires kept attacking me (seahawk managing to pull off an impressive pyth spam, which marked the last attack minutes before the boom :P), the deed was done, without any further arti assaults, I had succeeded!
Here's a summary of my UW:

Medals for the attackers :)
Most Persistent Attacker: Snafu, 14. Honourable mention to VALJA, 12.
Attacker who did the most damage in 1 hit: Katzrule, killed around 100 mil PR worth of lakkos.
Attacker who ran queens into my lakko the most ;). Arrland, 2000 queens, darkstar 2200 queens, Balzac 700 queens.

A BIG thank you to the support!!! There's so much of you I can't even begin to name you all. Pretty much everyone in the EoE alliance did something at point or another that ensured the success of my UW so thank you!!! And thank you to the fast server for putting up such a great fight.
And as I like to conclude with my thank yous...Thank you GC! I hope you all had as much fun fighting the UW as I did preparing for it and setting it off. With the resistance from the fast server, I think that this game is FAR from dead and I hope that I have maybe inspired others to try to do UWs as well to spice things up once in a while.
