In case you guys thought I wasn`t really serious about my retirement and eventual exit from this game, I am taking the next step in weaning myself off the spacecrack by plundering my fast C3s.
It`s really the last thing keeping me logging in on a regular basis, and anyone who`s ever maintained C3s for any length of time (or for that matter a good c2 and a few c1s) knows that this is one of the key reasons we develop the habit of logging in every day.
*Side note: In case you were curious, I`ve I identified UW aspirations, connections with other players, artifact digging, and (to a lesser extent on turn based servers) that darn research button we`re so fond of pressing as the other key components of spacecrack addiction*
Breaking my addiction has had progress. I no longer log in more than once every 2-3 days and I didn`t even realize till 12 hoursafter the fact that I missed my login time on fast to renew my VM. So I feel I am ready for this next step.
I`d give away to a friend or something, but that would be "Cheating" now wouldn`t it. :)
However, I may eventually find that I may go over 30 days without logging in. If anyone is interested in preserving my accounts, or knows anyone who`d be willing to keep tabs on it, let me know.
Once those clusters are gone, so is the last vestige of motivation I have left for logging in other than occational research.

Was only able to form that last one cuz i managed to nab a 25k c2 off DM when he missed his loggin time as guard and another 21k c2 from someone else while trying to find borders for the first one.
I already had a 20k c2 formed, and I quickly formed another 17k one. After that, it was only a matter of making a 10 or 12k ish c2 after that.
Won the 50k c3 from edge, and that 28k one is the result of gradual accumulation of clusters. |
