Well I must say this is probably the 2nd time i`ve tried to quit this game, but here it goes.
I make this thread for 2 reasons, 1 is for closure purposes and 2nd is so that perhaps others may find something of value.
I`m quitting online gaming cuz there just isn`t any point anymore. There are so many better things out there in this world than what this miserable game offers.
Also, I`ve met my main goal in this game which is to do a UW. I`ve met that goal and have cherished the friends I made (and lost) in the process and all the fun times we had. UTU prolly kept me here far longer than I should have stayed.
Heck even the enemies have proven fun and entertaining. DM, Omegian, deiloche, loof, and all the other people I have ended up making my eternal enemies due to my membership in UTU (which has since disbanded): for all the trash talk that`s gone on, it`s been fun. I will prolly forever be in you guys shadow in terms of what you guys managed to do in this game. You guys have certainly made me earn my collective UW especially at the end when I thought I had it in the bag (arch and metsus deserve special mention for turning it into a well earned UW).
But anyways, ultimately, it all has to end. I can no longer commit the time needed to continue to be good without it starting to interfere with my life. If I have done something or have been the cause of any real negativity or ill feelings, all I can do is offer my sincerest apologies to those people. I`m sorry, please forgive me. My forgiveness is free if you feel you need it from me, as I feel that if someone asks for it that you must forgive or else that unforgiving attitude will end up eating you up from the inside.
As for everyone else, it`s been fun.
So Farewell, and thanks for all the fish. I still have some regalos on slow, norm and fast, so contact me on fast server with offers or requests (if you feel I owe it to you over the cash offers). |

I`m glad you finally figured out that there is more to life then sitting at a computer and clicking away. The outdoors are beautiful, people in the flesh are great... there are many things out there more rewarding and productive then what you can find in an online game.
Best of luck in anything and everything you choose to do and be. I hope that your life will be more fulfilling now that you have quit online gaming altogether; and if you don`t find what you`re looking for, most of us will be here when you return. |
