My career here at RT started in MK, about 2 years ago. It lasted a couple of month, and then I dropped out again. About 1½ year later I felt like playing at RT again, and I returned. I played around with my a.miner empire, just to realize how awesome mineral miners are, but at the same time getting more and more frustrated how RT were sleeping. I decided to leave my fed to try something new. Not long after this I read this post from Loof!

This inspired me, and I thought with myself that MK lead by loof would be the perfect fed for me to do an UW. I asked loof if he wanted to resurrect MK and let me do a UW there, and he was keen on the idea. From that point MK rose rapidly from the ashes.
Since bloodraven did his UW, RT has been more alive than ever. It has been really enjoyable to be part of the rivalry between my old fed CC and my new fed MK. I love the smacktalk that has been going between these feds.
And now to what it is all about. I want to thank everyone from MK for joining the fed and supporting this UW. Mostly consisting of new empires I am amazed how fast we became dominating at the server. Special thanks to AmericanMinestery, PosterusScienta,Deletion, Loof, SibirianGun, AGM94, Evilspike, Lordaeron, Seifer and Nedflanders - You've been doing an outstanding job! Thank you guys!!
Outside the fed Keltikelti, Enderwiggins, Deiloche and Blackangel did a lot of good hits against CCers before the UW, and that really helped this UW on its way. Thx for the effort you did.
And you few guys that decided to stay neutral. Highly appreciated too! |

99+ day(s) ago | lol, I have a fairly close rough estimate of how much damage I did this UW, I may have forgotten to keep track of an attack or two, but it ended up being 150,528,669 pr of damage...I guess all those little attacks add up. o.O |

99+ day(s) ago | honestly... i`m truly pissed everytime after a succesful UW... i hate to think the time i had to find and buy ore and minerals coz it`s no longer easy to get after no more of BM nowadays... until now i couldn`t understand the glory of being suicidal and lose everything at the end... well, i guess it`s just me... :P

And huge congrats on pulling it off. I thought you were doomed when there was 14 hours left and you starting hemorrhaging fleet like a severed carotid. Wish I could have been more help, but there`s only so much taxers can do without specific agri support. |

grats pete, though next time build a better UW fleet, tisk tisk such a rich miner with a fleet of mostly bases (that made me want to hit you myself, but i restrained myself).
it certainly looked like everyone had fun i was on awake most of the UW but not interested in the slightest, but it was fun to look in and check on things once in a while. remember now, your all losers...not saying that as a ploy to undermine your all of RT`s self-esteem but i lost MK lost CC lost Rabies lost that one guy in Np...yeah i`m talking about you...you lost too HA! NP didn`t protect you from that did it...always ducking in your precious NP. The biggest loser by far was pete, he lost his poor empire in all the mayhem. Cheers to a glorious resurrection though.
i almost wished kind wished i would have participated in the UW, but i`m glad i didn`t

At many times in the UW it seemed that it could have gone either way... it was not until the very end that I was sure of anything. Kept everyone on their toes. I have to say that this event was great for the server, just about everyone that was not in VM was participating in one way or another.
The unfortunate part is that most of MK is in a far different time zone then the attackers... thus it was not very often that there was a great deal of opposition and defenders actively fighting each other. It seemed to go back and forth, one greatly outnumbered the other most of the time. But all and all there was plenty of action and fun to be held by everyone.
It was a little frustrating because I couldn`t even fight as I was so broke. Plus, a lot of CC`s big hitters were in VM, so we couldn`t give it our all. But for what we had I am majorly impressed with my mates and the effort they put forth. And I still had a blast, pm`ing attackers and trying to help strategically and watching the tides turn back and forth in the ranks.
A big thanks to Pete and MK for hosting. And even bigger thanks to all the attackers that worked together so well and put up such a great fight. |

99+ day(s) ago | Yeah, I missed the first 12 or so hours, I was with my fiance, so I think that`s understandable :P Saturday night I was on until 4am fighting, and AGM, Sibiriangun, and Seifer were the biggest defenders at that time. I did a bunch of hits, as well as others, and those three were kept low enough that I was able to build up to 70 something pr, unfortunately, Deilochi came by and knocked me down :P
The next day, after about four hours of sleep, I had church, then from about 2pm to 4am I was on, fighting to knock you down. Mostly I did little attacks, sometimes my attacks hurt a little more (thinks about the attack where there were 5 million light fighter drones that killed 2k+ Hoko) Again, defenders were out in force, though they concentrated on others more, and were always a pain. However, we were better coordinated, with more people, and so our lower pr members took on their own war, fighting to keep the defenders from preventing the more powerful attacks.
When we went left yesterday, (sleep deprivation finally caught up to me) Pete was under 200 million pr, and there were several people who were set to smack him whenever he left DP. Unfortunately today I couldn`t get on, but I was hopeful for our cause, so I missed the closing part of the battle. It must have been incredible, and I must say that it was one of the better UWs I`ve had the pleasure of facing. Thank you PistolPete and those who defended it, as well as those who joined me in fighting it. It was a pleasure. *bows to everyone, then settles down to rebuild the credit reserves*
P.S. I had over 220 stcs that I could have used, as well as MDs and Historias that would have hurt Pete/defenders, however, I didn`t want to use any of them, as no artifacts were used on me. Also, I was having much to much fun battling it, I didn`t care if we really won or not, though we got a lot closer than I`d imagined we would when I started fighting yesterday. |

I have not fight the defender much, maybe when I`m on they are sleeping :P Nice work of staying through the uw.
Nice effort of all the people fighting the uw. I really see a ton of fighting and activity in this uw.
As for the quick build that some people mentions, it`s not the 60% buildrate or guard buildrate that helps, it`s the amount of stc i throw in. ton of them :)
So i guess i need to disappear from the rank for a few mths to recoup my cash back and prepare for the next uw...
Guard life is jus like a firework.. Took a lot of resources to prepare, the exciting part is so short. 24hr burn up mths of cash.. lol.. |
