They occur whenever the random planet generator says they occur. Without the actual random planet generator code available, no one truly knows the chances of getting anything. lol o.o On a side note, random planet generator makes a nice acronym xD

once every 1k planets G3ngar? I`ve been recording every single planet I`ve explored for the last week or two, and I`m over 1k, and so far I`ve only come across three S.class planets in all that time, and not a single one of them were useful.

for the record collectives can plunder x - u class planets

although as a collective i usually prefer to just plunder all infra on them and hand them off - far more satisfying...

Special Planets

Generally the 2 S class planets you will find most of it seems (from my extensive exploring experiance) are gas planets and desert planets.

They can range from a mear 20 land gas, up to over 2,000 land (biggest I have found as a Gas planet was 2,200 land or so)

For deserts sometimes the S class is the normal size, though most of the time it is over 1,000 land. Biggest desert I have found was a 3,400 one.

I have seen 5,000+ land balanced S classes and 8,000+ land barrens though they are EXTREMELY rare.

You can get twin S class planets just like any other also.

Thye make a great addition if over 900 land (unpaid) or over 1.2k land (paid) to add to your cluster to get that extra bit of land.

They are rare and usually apprear roughly every 1,000-2,000 planets though sometimes they are more common, or atleast seem to be.

Hope that helped a little more

Ok. I`ll just cluster it later then.

I thought it was special or something.

I means you can`t plunder it if you`re not maruader, collective, or viral. However, if it is an X class U planet or Dead planet, only maruaders can plunder them, since a viral has to infect/collective has to assimilate.

The one way around this is to cluster the non-U/Dead planets into a cluster and plunder the cluster. You could, however, let someone attack you and take it from you, which is always fun. :D
