Well today marks 1 year for Reborn. I`ve been with this game for so long, yet this is the first time I noticed a year mark for one of my empires. I can`t believe how much has changed in that time... so now I will reminisce for a bit.
I remember when ChronicConquest was the talk of the server, their alleged `wrongful acts` mentioned in every thread that gave even the slightest leeway for mention.
I remember a time not so long ago, that the market was packed with minerals, ore, and yes, even consumer goods from time to time (thanks to a certain someone who made too many consumer goods than the server could buy haha)
Yes, I even remember a time when TPE led a newbie fed (not Ruthless Warriors.. the OTHER one).. before Odvar took it over and made it into something worth joining.
a time when RABIES was the branch fed and VERTIGO was not thought of, when fed wars usually meant the feds would actually fight lol.
does anyone else remember Vehement Judgment and The Destroyers forging their alliance? I`ve seen alliances between main fed and branch fed that lasted less time!
I remember a couple very subtle attempts to reuse the name Thunderdogs that (from what I`ve heard of the original) came up short to say the least.
ah to relive the days when DOE or Bandits would fill up my battle logs...
believe it or not, there was a time when many feds existed and were thriving! back when 100 players online was sign of a slow day.
so much experience tucked away inside this young empire... sad I`m still a newbie :o) |

So much else the mind boggles...
Congrats Reborn , any achievement is worth celebrating... and its the old dogs of this game that have kept it alive for so many of you young whippersnappers
Always fair to note, that it gets tiring beating dow people when you have done it 1000`s of time before
Its very nice to see so many old faces coming back to the game
And the commendable effort that Gollum !!!! Still makes me laugh and others have put into this game to bring it back from the edge |

and my year and a half old A.miner empire... when i finally restarted i lost a whopping 70 lvls of infra research.... lol
remember being picking fights with Bren.... and goin bankrupt as a 2 week old empire, just so that he`d have to climb to 150mil pr to declare independence.... :D |

He just dissapeared and never heard from him again, wich is a shame cuz he was one of my best friends in the game. i remember being part of the massive team convos with cc and others, during omegians uw. tbh those times really got me motivated in wanting an empire like BW or EE and being part of a fed that works together and shares the same vision...
i remember the PK(lateron RB) CC alliance, and fighting Distemper every given occasion :) i remember all those pms filled with sarcasm...
i remember taking a different view point on everything, i remember turning into a Marauder...

It is difficult to keep track on who does what as allmost everyone likes to change their name regurly... streetrac has been my irc and game name for about 9 years. I`ve been arround gc for nearly 4 years. I believe when i started playing Bastard Clan was on top of the fed list. I joined Blackhole shortly after starting when Hawks was the leader. I took over about a year later or so when Hawks quit playing. I was leader of Blackhole untill about two weeks ago when i gave Blackhole to TheEdge so i could join CC. |

My first fed was Blackhole ran by steetrac my first fed leader ;)
I remember when it was me who flooded the market with so many CG`s that I had to sell them for 3$ a pop. Moops joined my CG production for a short period of time.
I remember Blackstaff with Sagacity and MK as the fed with all the killer players.
I remember the first time I reached 90 or so planets I was allowed into AccordEX fed at the time (blanking on the name) then I lost the planets within a couple days and was kicked out lol |
