at the moment the best time to dig started frm 2pm-10pm server time... why can`t we have another mirror image at 2am-10am server time... at least both side of the world can gain same advantage for digging time...
6pm-10pm server time kinda nice time to go shopping with family or having dinner with them... IF i can skip the evening session, i might go dig the next morning...
but the main point is, it can be fair to both sides of the world... rite? |

99+ day(s) ago | right now the dig times fall almost perfectly into my work shift. Stephen is losing out on money (other people`s, I buy my paid coupons with gordos :P) because there`s no point in buying one, when I won`t be able to make them back before the coupon expires.
2pm-10pm server time = digging times
I`m 12 hours separate from server time.
My work shifts are from 4am to 10am

99+ day(s) ago | Not that I`m advocating cheating, but I`m just throwing that thought out there. Perhaps something that can be sanctioned by the admins (like anfit`s mod for example), might be worked out somehow. I mean anfit made his mod using a program called grease monkey I think that lets you customize websites on your own computer to let you do a lot of things (of course the changes are only visible to and only apply to you and anyone else that has the mod installed on fire fox).
Why not do something similar with this issue? Someone make a mod that keeps you logged in and digs for you at the appropriate time if you keep the browser open. And on every page there`s a check mark that you can tick to turn it on or off (the default would be "off" for every time you open the browser). Once the mod is made, let admins to make sure it`s kosher, then with their approval put it in the forums as a sticky and make a general announcement about it.
I`m sure Anfit *could* do it, but of late he`s been pretty busy with real life. ^^ |

99+ day(s) ago | The dig times discriminate in favor of Europeans and Asians and against people in the USA, so I would say things are already "unbalanced" in favor of those 2 demographics.
Of course a "non-Stephen" solution would be a 3rd party program to let you dig for you during the times you *should* be sleeping, but we all know the potential for abuse that would cause (and as such understandably considered cheating). >_>
Then again, if everyone used it and it was made public for everyone to use, would it *really* be considered "unfair"?
I mean unless we get stephen to add additional dig times or something similar to make it fair for all time zones, or impliment some sort of option in the game to let it dig for you while logged off, i don`t see any other option. |
