Peace01 2009-07-17 | | Enslavement part 2 | | I accidentally hit the wrong link and closed the thread. AS, to the admins about how it would work. from a programming stand point almost identical to the way it is now. From a play stand point it would be more realistic. As, in the real world those who are weaker have to be crazy, suicidal, or both t attack someone stronger. Which allowing those with lower power attack those with stronger power allows. And, the 10 times is just unfair and wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

tolnep 99+ day(s) ago | as there is damage protection there should be enslavement protection @ about 15pr when out of ep and you get enslaved and then drop below 15pr to get out of enslavement this could be horrible for people that are fairly strong ( like an average pr of 150k and higher) as they would have to lose their fleet and possibly planets but at the same time this would help newbies not to get so frustrated and quit playing after 2 weeks!!! and the 10x could be dropped back to say 8x. also newbies think that being enslaved is horrible, which it is not, sometimes very helpful. |
Arc 99+ day(s) ago | lmao @ Mara |
ImaVirusOhNoz 99+ day(s) ago | thats rough mara lol |
Maraudian 99+ day(s) ago | otto if i gave you a full epic imba haxxx zomgwthbbq fleet at 2 billion power rating. you would still manage to lose to everyone. |
PowerofCheese 99+ day(s) ago | If the slaver sends help...by all means let me pay the tribute...minerals are more valuable the money anyway :) who can help the cheese |
freshfish 99+ day(s) ago | You could set it that enslaving could only be done on a counter...then the 10x PR idea would work.
Empire A attacks Empire B at similar PR`s
Empire B is angry and wants to counter, realised that enslaving Empire A would be good and realises that to enslave A he would have to 10x the PR of Empire A.
Empire A - 500k pr so to enslave Empire B would have to build to 5mill pr and hit using the counter.
Empire B enslaves Empire A and this saves newbies from being enslaved as soon as they start the game.

UberPansy 99+ day(s) ago | Not really Conquers, enslaver gets a 1.5 advantage. And srsly 50% is a decent hit, but not that impressive..... |
GalacticMercenaries 99+ day(s) ago | Agrees with Yoshi and Arc ^_^
Sorry OttOmaNS Its the truth :) |
Arc 99+ day(s) ago | `grees with Yoshi |
Yoshi 99+ day(s) ago | you would not, you would fail the attack. |
OttOmaNS 99+ day(s) ago | 0o i would be able to enslave everyone, imagine how much money i would get, and how much punishment i would give em haha. |
Yoshi 99+ day(s) ago | so some1 at 5mil could enslave some1 at 500k...weee!! |
Conquers 99+ day(s) ago | what i think some people forget is that if you got enslaved that means you lost a battle badly, hence partly your fault that you are having a hard time freeing yourself |
Maraudian 99+ day(s) ago | you still havent told me how its going to work
youve made a really messed up idea and havent explained how this is going to work. i dont care how its coded , i want to know how a person 10x higher is going to enslave people 10x weaker in a fair balanced way.
take into account this is something you " force " upon your enemy and do your best to keep em. this also annoys and offends the empire in question aswell as creates hardships for them.
you want empires to be able to do this when they are 10x higher in power rating...
( also take into account that to enslave someone you have to atack and destroy 60% at the moment, currently very fair as it means you were 60% or more dominant than them at the time from a " fair " power rating )
i hope i get my points across to you so you can get your points across to us :) |
