  More of Maraudians Idea`s  

Maraudian:
and although not really a ship balance the rest of my goals on the next update is to

1. boost terran economy + allow them a more proficient mineral income , a decrease in mineral cost of ships perhaps compensated in an increase in money cost ( making them a more mineral friendly race hence also making them easier as the starting race and hopfully even making more new players stay / less debt issues to new players )

2. boost A miners consumer good production a giant chunk.

3. roughly complete the D maru to the best of our abilities economy wise to make them playable.

small ( low tech ) ships will be facing updates to make them tactical , not useless , interesting and so so and hopefull fill in some gaps the races in question lack

Kalzul:
kalzul have evolved once again and can now customise their ships whenever they feel like it , this is in a further effort to make the NPC more fun and challenging , these customisations do ofc follow rules and paterns and can only be done once per 48 hours.
in other words he can eventually become immortal and god mode you all >:P

D.Maru:
D maru ships are complete at last and once again ready for some ingame testing

Viral:
for viral ide like to increase either the mineral cost or upkeep of the V bor and V chirron

( yes i still hate you virals )

at the moment im leaning more towards an upkeep increase , as you leech`s drain enough minerals as it is.

Marauder:
righty then ide like to work on the upkeep and ship cost for this race , ide like to make the race less apealing to sit with ( sorry to you agri maru and i know its a more apealing path these days with lack of targets ) yet a little cheaper to build with
in other words its kinda the reverse of what the guardian update is , marauder really dont have any major issues these days and this isnt a major problem or anything , just trying to balance things as a whole

Collective:
righty then for our hopefully final fix on this race

some ships had a very rough update to help them do the jobs they do , my main issue at the moment is the galleon and the MoW

my suggestion is a rebalance of the galleon and deletion of the MoW , in MoW`s place a new H class ship to do jobs now needed from the galleon rebalance

so in rough a nerf to the galleon ( remake ) however a new ship replacing the MoW ( offencive and H class to compensate )

i think the main problem with collective at the moment is they are very spam + dummy reliant when they have such awesom ships to stack with

Guardian:
well at the moment i think the guardian are fine , however there is one more thing ide like to throw into the race

large increase in ship cost`s ( Minerals / price )
large cut in upkeep (10-25%)
( this will make building / fighting more expensive and sitting at x pr cheaper )

For the virals and marauders:

I don`t think bors and chirons upkeep are problems. The viral problem is still that pyth is way too cheap - and the rest of the marauder ships for that sake. Start by increasing the upkeep of some of the marauder ships and see how this will balance things.

Because this will screw up marauders, the income of this race must be balanced as well. It must be quite easy to change the income modifiers to balance this. Another thing i think needs a rethink is how collectives and especially marauders are made more attractive at TB servers.

For the mineral market is think it may be tricky to change things, as minerals are not in demand on slow servers - at least the ones I know. If the mineral consumption is decreased minerals may loose a lot value at these servers, screwing up the mineral miners there.

IMO a low mineral CAP, as deiloche suggested, is the best solution to bring back minerals on RT market - as i think the production of minerals is large enough to supply ship building - but not large enough to serve as a way of serving up cash.

For terrans i think commercial income needs a boost. I think this is a better way - as i am not sure how many n00bs may be saved from debt anyway. Ans i don`t like the idea of changing the mineral consumption too much as i think this will x up miners as TB servers.

As A.miner i totally avoid hitting collectives as miner ships sucks agaist the galleon - and everybody spams that ship. I think that issue needs a fix.

I`m not sure if I like the guardian idea, I`ll go with it though. I do like the terran idea, attracting/keeping more people would be nice.
The miner deal is good, I wouldn`t mind more cg`s around here

I hate the kalzul idea, and nerfing the galleon, the MoW I can understand though

Then when it comes to Viral.

I don`t think the V class needs an increase in anything.

ships that come close to winning on equal pr (do significant damage compared to losses but still lose for example losing 3mil pr but killing 2.5mil pr) :

The galleon needs no balancing. You hit the right thing it does well, the wrong thing it gets pwned. If you ever confirm a battle where galleons hit hercs and brigs hit queens theres no need to scroll down, you just got raped.

8hour(s) ago those people that whine about there being no minerals should just restart as mineral miner

This defeats the purpose of choosing a new class isnt it? When I choose a race which can`t mine efficiently,I should be given the choice to buy it off from the market,but seeing now the amount of players now and the way some players horde of for some purposes,it still not enough.

Different players with different time zone would suffer as at some time,there are no miners playing at all.

utlra is mostly dry cos lack of players

more mineral mined faster wont mean things will change because in the end people still have to sell n may horde it for uw
