how many levels of infra for Food, Industry & Housing

anyway, regardless what ppl say about my choice of infra researches, i`m happy with it coz i`m a sulf-sefficient empire... as far that i`m concerned, i never worried about buying CGs when there isn`t any in the market and food when it is high as the sky... :) |

To the OP: Even if you are going completely Plunder/Housing (which on fast, with the food market stagnating low, I`d recommend) it`s still a good idea to have the U.Fert as you`re base Colony. Protects you from being caught unable to plunder down to NP, and will always generate at least a small amount of food for you (except when popping up captured colonies, obviously.) Still, even as a primarily plunder based Maru, I find it a good idea to have ten or so levels of Agri infra, along with a U.Fert. But that is just me. |

ya depends what income stream u want.. old school marus like loof take the plunder option... where as some of the newer marus go argi...
richest income stream depends on market price...
massive benifit of argi tho is its a per turn income stream where plunder comes down to luck of how many people are out off dp and what they have on borders.... |

i`d say get a fert as base and then some 5-10 lvl agri, the rest housing, depending on the food price if its very low go all housing.
oh and industry marauder is almost worse than VALJA`s research |

for argi just try to amase big land size clusters .. eg 800+barrens 4k+ c1s 20k+ c2s.. etc and fertiles preferable 1.6k+
for plunder take every planet u can fill them up with housing and hit dat plunder button :D |
