Ok, here`s the deal...
Every week Maraudian will put a new empires name in the banner that is the empire of the week, and why they are so good. It`s very simple all you have to do is PM myself on GCRT with the empire you think is deserving of the title "empire of the week", their game-speed, and why you think theyre so great (aka - a reason)
The Rules
- You CAN NOT nominate yourself for empire of the week. If you do, you will be disqualified from empire of the week that week.
- Each empire can only win it ONCE every four weeks. So if you win 3 weeks must transpire before you can win it again.
- ONLY entries submitted via PM to me will be valid.
- You can only nominate ONE person per week, if you nominate more than one I will completely disregard all your nominations.
- You CANNOT change your nomination once submitted.
- All nominations MUST contain... an empire name, a gamespeed, and a reason.
- The winners will always get 10 regalos given by an admin. The prize is non-negotiable.
- My decision on the winner is FINAL.

99+ day(s) ago | Lol it deserved some credit becaue I screwed up at least 15 times... Overused turns and killed 25 mil tax income, activated before using 17 BTCs, left my minerals on the market before the previous UW went off... And still succeeded roflol. But I had a decent fleet at the end, very close to balanced(9 stack, the 10th wasn`t very small either). |

i think i can trust him with something as mundane as collecting data you guys give him and announcing a winner judging from that data , and going from the person who got the most votes... i am again faced with more proof of that trust ` because hes plain awesom ` isnt as awesom in GC as the event that took place on ultra |

As staff myself and Maraudian are doing as much as humanly possible to make the game as fun as possible for everyone by running as many events as we can do like the fed war and these little mini-competitions that i`m doing. Your perfectly entitled to not participate if you dont want to. Just bear in mind that we dont have to do anything for the game in the way of events, we could just sit back and let it die, but we don`t because we love this game.
And in answer to your questions
1. The winners are selected on how good their achievement is, for all intents and purposes DM`s UW should NEVER have gone boom because it was so poorly but it did... so he clearly deserves some special commendation for it.
2. I have been playing this game for over 2 years now and have been staff for around 3/4 of that time. I know I`m not the most knowledgeable in the game, i can`t be expected to be with just 2 years of experience but I`m one of the hardest working members of staff since maraudian. |
