Hi guys,
After 5 years I`ve returned to SpaceFed, to let you all know who`s tha boss (lmao).
Eventough, I`ve noticed allmost nothing has changed to GC, what`s up with that? I can remember, a lot of cool ideas were on the forum, and nothing has been set up...
Bearing that in mind I still want to add an idea to improve Feds. Today feds are "just a group of people". I`m a bit of a Starwars fans, and I say that`s ridiculous. Federations should be a united front, that are bigger and better then an empire that stands alone.
That`s just my perspective, and to improve it all at once is never a good idea, unless you change it like UC (I really liked it when the old one was there, I pwn`d everybody).
So my idea is, to improve interaction between fedmates and there leader, is that every fed mate can choose an option to show there fleet, there planets, and percentages of battles and such. I know that this idea is probly major, but it will improve gameplay so much between federations. That everyone that is playing, wants to be in a fed.
SpaceFed hasn`t been the only TBMMORPG I`ve played; I can speak from 10 years of gaming, that the idea is a good one, will work, and will improve gameplay between federations itself.

99+ day(s) ago | MSN is good, but its only a necessary tool for communication. However, if you could open a private chat room in GC with the ability to invite any empire that`s online, THAT would be cool (esp for UW coordination).
Unfortunately this is only something that Anfit (or someone equally capable of creating firefox plugins like him) might *possibly* be able to do. It would require the plugin to talk to the GC server somehow. Forget about Stephen doing anything progressive like that. Most likely he would just end up making the game more unstable. |

99+ day(s) ago | I do know a lot better fed improvements, but that has to be put asside. Like I`ve said, it`s never good to change it completely, the outcome will be negative at all times.
I know cool stuf, like fed wars, the winner is who has done the most damage to the other in 24 hours, or 1 week. The one who has one gets Warpoints, when a number of warpoints have been collected, the federation gets a bonus that they can give to the fed mates. Like money, resources, planets or artifacts.
Or how about special project that can be set up by a federation? Like a rocket of some sort that can inflict damage to federation that are in war with you, but can`t be used to get planets. The number of turns and money spended on it will be the outcome of damage it can inflict.
The list goes on and on. |

Anaboliking is a legitimate strategy for winning a fed war and frankly, it made things more fun. The fact that they disabled the fed votes because a bunch of newbies cried about it a couple of years ago is rediculous.
In order to improve federations, turn back on the voting system ASAP. |
