Blazed is correct , you can not use a counter-attack to Enslave your enemy but , this is not stated anywhere in the manual. See Manual , FAQ , General related , How do counter-attacks work?
The question is : You attacked in Normal Mode , Do you still have a Counter-Attack ? |

99+ day(s) ago | it happend 3 times now and it i had to get withen 130 percent of him like usual instead of countering him he hit me 3 times before i could finally enslave him |
