Alrighty. I have a lot of food on fast, and only some of it is selling. Sooooo, I am bored. I am going to slowly crash the price of food on the server to about 1 or 2 per unit and hold it there. If you wanted to start a taxing account on fast, now would be the time to do it. There is a LOT of food production on fast (not just me) and not much consumption. |

Then DM alerted me to andriata being low on colonies and ordered me to drop my many millions PR fleet and attack, so as per usual, I did, ahahaha. |

99+ day(s) ago | hehe, yea. Of course I`m not so sure you could actually hold it at 1 or 2 per unit for very long cuz it would cause loads of people to want to buy it. If you`re willing to hold onto it for a while, you`d make a nice profit later on. Maybe 4 or 5 would be as low as you could actually keep it I think. =P
And how on earth did you manage a 5th c4? Did you nick something good off another collective? |

99+ day(s) ago | Lol I have 102 agri levels on a five c4 collective empire on fast. I make way too much cash. However, you are quite right... this is an attempt to persuade people to start taxers on fast. My food is useless trying to sell it high except on occasions when people buy through the market (like a couple days ago.) So why not crash the market and influence more people to go tax and buy food? I may lose a lot of profit on my food in the short term, but well, when I made this thread I had three billion units of food that I was cycling on the market trying not to lose, so I was going to lose a lot of profit anyway if I didn`t do anything. The short term loss of a lower market price is negligible when you consider the long term benefits.
As for why, TPE... because, with the exception of fast, I am a taxer on all four servers, and have been a taxer for a larger percentage of my GC career than perhaps anybody else in the game, with the exception of ultra. (Not the server, the player.) |

99+ day(s) ago | I like your thinking deiloche, a good way to encourage people to go tax, and then when there are enough that go (and stay) tax for long enough the prices will skyrocket back. It`ll take a while though for that to happen, but will be good for the other major food producers when that happens. Including myself (food terran on fast server....with a ton of agri levels). =P |

I do not count goods into the profit formula, which is why virals are profit to 17, miners are profit to 37. |

99+ day(s) ago | What are you talking about, lol, are you on crack, terrans make 1/3 profit when prices hit 10, If there is 3 million then they make 1 million, its far by really profitable. At 15 terrans and virals don`t make much, Terran goes below in negative.
Goods are a real boost for Terran, though they can live without it.Virals actually can go to 18 price and still make little.
when prices are 7-6 the net income is 2\3. I feel ashamed that you guys played this game for sooooo long and still you guys think that tax terran sucks, you suck. |

99+ day(s) ago | Profit up to 15 per unit of food, I think the number is. It can actually be fairly profitable, you just need affordable food, ahaha. 10 per unit is not affordable for a terran or collective. 6, on the other hand, is quite affordable. |
