99+ day(s) ago | Heh...One or two players in CC have a lot of time..I don`t, yet I`m up here building a large turn fleet for the asmodai, due to lack of anything else to do. I see little point in building 10 stacks every day to fight low, because 10 random people will just spam me and I find that just as boring as sitting up here. But due to time constraints known as a track team and play rehearsal I don`t even get online some days anymore for more than 20 minutes before I leave for school..Managing time effectively is more important than having it imo.
Will agree that some of my fedmates are on a lot though yar =0 And having the ranks allows for a few other things than just UW`s, such as a need to hide should one lose there borders, one can freely climb or base into protection...
Hehe, Once you lot get all active enough, I`z agonna try my hand at a UW..All the time I been playing this game never really attempted a serious one =) Should be fun to try, and see what happens. I know for a fact a LOT a`people hate me..Makes it all the more fun I would think ^_^ Viral is a really boring race y`know =/ |

99+ day(s) ago | yeah like bip said not bashing CC, just noting that me others in my fed and on other feds just dont seem to have the time or numbers to take and hold the ranks. CC do have time and numbers so do hold the ranks. as for uw`s like DM said i dont think CC can do a uw as too many against. only ppl with many high power friends in all feds like DM can do them it seems now. |

99+ day(s) ago | Yoshi, if CC wasn`t here my name would have been on the winners list. If CC was fighting my UW then maybe my name would have been on the winners list one time less. But keep in mind I had a lot of support during my UW, a lot of the high PR players didn`t even make a hit. And if CC was against my UW, several people from distemper would support it. + bandits probably. |

Having the ranks is needed when you need to set off an UW for instance, or when you want to kill one. And I don`t think anyone from CC is capable of pulling off an UW - you are just hated too much by too many players. |

We`re all just saying that RT *IS* about time - at least when it comes to taking the ranks.
Yep, CC has the time to take the ranks - and more power to them for having that amount of free time. I think we were all just trying to make the point though that it takes a lot of free time to do that. Nobody`s CC bashing here. Or at least I wasn`t anyway. |

99+ day(s) ago | time in rt is important, i no longer have the time to build up to 3-400mil pr hit a few ppl then get hit while offline and have to do the same the next day. which is why i plundered my 2 c3s during DMs uw, so i can explore borders if im unable to get on for dp end. |

99+ day(s) ago | Well too a point, it is about the time Ren. I had plenty of money and resources to spam up and defend that C3 better than I did, the problem was, I didn`t have the TIME to do it. I only play actively for little bits of time each day. And then every few days I have the opportunity to sit down and actually play for a few hours. So building up to to the kind of PRs you guys are talking about is nearly impossible for me.
Now yes, it`s also about playing smarter. I, for example, did that by hitting certain players each day, that I knew would come out of DP with no fleet when their DP expired, and getting easy borders.
Now in my case, I probably could have held that C3 for longer if I had really wanted too, but I was bored and ready to move on. I`m the type of player that prefers to run around and hit lots of people, rather than see how high I can build and defend lots of planets and have a high base PR. Just a personal preference... |

if someone plays more than you, simple play smarter. even RT isn`t totally about time. |

99+ day(s) ago | what DM said is correct, its all too predictable up top, ive given up going up there to bring ppl down as they just wait in dp till your offline and spam up with the same old cheap ships. it used to be fun taking the ranks by force then defending them. now unless you can sit at the comp 24hrs you lose them without a fight. better to stay down low where the real fights are. |
