have their destroyers and cruiser build rates increased in exchange for the capitol build rate decreased? Wouldn`t that encourage stacking at higher pr levels and equalizing the pr build rates? |

99+ day(s) ago | well, i propose the idea long time ago for increase build rate on all ships which was Cruiser class n below for all races. and not only for Terran.
but, ppl just simply reject n prefer reduce the capital ships build rate. the reduce build rate
the things to concern while increase build rate:
1. how much should increase? 20%? 50%? u cant increase too much n spoil the capital ships advatange on pr rising.
2. refer to piont 1, ship with more than 1 dmg, example: Pike, Borelly, should increase build rate CAREFULLY as too much will result spam in the end.
3. basically, Collective dont need increase the build rate as they already got it. they need capital ships more than other. same go to Guardian with thier superb pr climbing.
reduce the capital ships wont make good thing. it just make HARD time for Terran, Miner, Marauder n Viral when rising pr, escpailly encounter Guardian with their stup!d Ruby, Taurmaline spam. |

99+ day(s) ago | Yea, I like what eclips said. And it really sucks when a stack that literally took you days to build gets all messed up due to a lame spam. Stacking should be the same at high PR as it is at low pr. If the PR levels aren`t equalized, we should at least make the ships so that that lower build rates = more powerful ships. Maybe make the corvett more of a powerhouse like the collective pinnace :P |

I think robust debates of new ideas are a good thing though, as long as they stay civilized. I wish someone would make a list of good "update" suggestions so we can discuss them more. Too bad Maraudian is limited in what he can do though- otherwise we could try out ideas on the DM only, then if they work move them over to the regular servers. |

The limits to build are the problems...
...it's unlimited, and that makes ships like garuda's useless to build at high pr, as it will take ages to really have them where you want them in your stack. And knowing fast buildships are used upthere. |

99+ day(s) ago | Dude, it`s a QUESTION and not a SUGGESTION (there is a difference). I do just fine with stacking and I am not whining. I just want to know what`s wrong with the idea and THAT IS IT cuz I know there prolly is something wrong but I can`t figure out what it is. (I haven`t heard ANY constructive criticism other than that it would make the ships overpowered).
And Maraudian is right, it`d be unfair to increase destroyer buildrate for terran if you`re unwilling to do it for other races too. I should have modified it to include all races (except collective, which already received that build rate increase). ^_^
RareHunter and JunkYardDog, I apologize for asking such NEWBISH questions and thread oh great ones. Surely there are questions too newbish to be asked and should be banned from the forum, and I broke this unwritten rule of the holy forum of which surely you must be a high priest of.
