The time has come to reminisce, old, maybe even current UW wars that have happend on GC/RT. Think way back into your memory people, think back to all those good times, fighting for alliances and either completing or failing a UW attempt. So please tell your story for old times sake.
Some of my favorite UW Attempts/Completions-
DarkMistress`s UW. Much contrversy about this UW, somewhat bound to fail . Anyways DM started the UW about 850 Mil pr, and much of her surpporting cast, Thunder Dogs and The Bastards had a good grip on the high ranks . Though they did recive some stiff competion by Distemper, i specifically remeber Arch and Karo climbing and fighting BC, all trying to keep each other down. I believe some of The Forsaken were already above the blockade laid down by BC and T-Dogs and they happend to lay some heavy hits on DM, by this time the UW was half way through and it looked like Distemper would pull the UW down, which would eventaully lead to a Mompyuser UW attempt which got thrashed. To thunderdog and bastad clan credit DM was banned for something the day of the UW attempt, tho DM was so High in PR that the UW still could have gone off with out the good effort of distemper, the forsaken, and the genral server
oh the amount of UW stories.
I truly happend to enjoy Xander KoA`s UW. This UW was enjoyable for me because of the last second resistance the server gave Xander and his surrporters. I believe KoA and Honey Bucket current fed at the time surrported the UW attempt, while mostly everyone else was fairly stagnant till the last 12 hours. Xander took heavy hits from The Marines and some slight trickery, i also believe that Campman and WWW might have smashed up Xander a bit from 3Xs Xanders PR. By the final 12 hours fighting broke out and Xander took heavy blows that almost cause him to fail his attempt. some of the things i remeber was Pinks stack hunting he had about 15 mil pr worth of starbase and he would hit peeps with fodder...lol |

cosmos + havina breathing down our neck constantly at that time. if u think u got the gut to pull a maru UW in such a circumstance, pls do give us a run of our money |

99+ day(s) ago | M|K UWs on slow can`t be very exciting with the dominance they have of that server. The server gets excited when we stop a trial UW from M|K. Tough to stop them even when they are not trying. Still, can`t be very exciting. |

99+ day(s) ago | the pacerier UW was a good one. I`m still blaming myself for letting him win, as I made sure he got knocked under 500k pr still out of dp and got someone to finish him. However that empire waited to long to hit while I could have hit pacerier and finish him off... instead I stayed in DP.
Ah well still that UW was great to fight :) |

The successful one of course was the best. Went 24 hours before anyone actually paid any attention.
I also am a big fan of Bastion`s buggy UW attempt that went off 4 times. |

I recall getting b**ched at, because some defenders told me to attack a few empires. Then some others pointed out that two of them had been good border targets for him. XD |

since i'm always either helping or fighting uw's, i've been in allot of very exciting ones that i fought and got killed,
i guess the hardest ones that were succefull that i've watched, were the ones that we weren't sure about the outcome till the end, the most exciting ones
20/10/05 pacerier Fast A.Miner 390 132,104,316 ranks weren't dominated, one hell of an artifact war probably the biggest arty war so far, pacerier had a bed time and couldn't be on at times and was away for hours causing panic on the defenders
04/01/06 EvilLoof Slow Marauder 221 66,665,275 a maurader fight uw from begging to the end, loof's having to hunt newbies for borders and climbing high pretty fast, first M|K UW ever, marking the downfall of the resistance of the rest of the server
05/01/07 Deiloche Fast Terran 317 10,639,879 just cause deiloche tought it would fail, amazing teamwork done by DotV once more |

99+ day(s) ago | I`m gonna have to say my triple server UW attempt... mostly because it was freakin` crazy trying to defend all three at the same time. ^^; Then again, I am a bit biased on that one, but especially the fast server aspect was among the most intense UW fights I have ever been involved in. |
