and for the record - I posted this forum post because I knew it was against the rules to do post over the max amount, and I thought this might help you track it down. You know I bought the stuff and should now be able to backwards track it to who I bought it from.
im basicly saying you didnt need to explain or defend yourself so rest at ease or such...
as for DM`s further two posts after your own:
giving a perfect public explination to how to set up a bot is actually punished worse than botting in my book ( ide blacklist you instantly no matter how easy it is or childish it is )
your explination was perfect on how to use / do the system bypass in question ( even i who know very little about it using your post can easily do it ) on how to get past the system limit ( you gave every player on GC who read this post a perfect explination of how to commit a blacklistable offence )
now i simply removed it and said `what you did was pretty much as bad as doing it` ( i consider it worse ) but if you wish to argue my edit we can make it all formal and such and ill action your post rather than just edit it ( also doesnt taint your empire history like chat warnings unless i say it does, and to be honest ive only done so about 3 times in the year or so of being admin )
anyhow ive been drinking all day and enjoying life in general so happy easter sunday and such and lets all grow up and just follow rules rather than having petty little arguments |

Or maybe understanding maths to a level beyond the understanding of 14-year-olds is wrong? Come on, I don`t do it because it`s annoying for everybody but I don`t see it as giving any advantage and I think I have read all manuals and all rules and that`s not forbidden. |

infact i thought the whole reason i removed his post was because it explained how the offence is done perfectly so that anyone clueless to this could repeat the offence wasting my time tracking them down...

99+ day(s) ago | Loof , bypassing the system limits ect is banned as a whole , why should you be allowed to cheat just because you dont have more than a `sheet for brains` to understand why its not allowed
a tiny example of problems it can cause is max power rating , NPC can pass it , but the entire game breaks down perminently till he is removed after a small amount above the max power rating
atack limits , post limits, price limits, hell there are limits all over this game and bypassing them is a blacklistable offence regardless to your understanding or agreement, end of story really |
