I had an idea that might bring some fun to the game. Kinda like a lot of work places do with Employees of the Month and Employees of the Year. I thought it would be fun to do a "Player of the Month" and then maybe even a "Player of the Year". We could set up 1 [G] or [A] who wants to run it and then at the end of each month, players could PM their vote to the designated G/A. Rules would have to be like #1) you can`t vote for yourself. #2) only one vote per player (no matter how many servers you play on). The winner each month could get a free month paid on the server of their choice (or something).
Then for player of the year - at the end of the year, a list would be made of all the monthly winners, and players would vote for one of them to be player of the year. They could win a free year or maybe a free 3 month gold pack or something. Could probably give them a choice of prizes or something.
This could also be expanded to "Rookie of the Year" (month too if we wanted). This would have to be someone who signed up their account in that year (or month). So like Rookie of the Year for 2008 would have to have an `08 account. If we did Rookie of the Month, it would be like March winner = someone who has a March `08 account. Rookie winners could have similar prizes as Player of the Month/Year prizes. |

99+ day(s) ago | Ok I`ve got a basic form up on the new website where you can volunteer to donate items to be used as prizes. Donations must be things that one player can give to another player, i.e. Paid Accounts, Gordos, BTCs, STCs, etc

99+ day(s) ago | Podwars doesn`t exist anymore, but it was a game that I was working on that was similar to spacefed. After having 2 babies only 1 year apart though, I found that I no longer had the time to work on it, take care of my 3 children, and also work full time. Hence- the reason why if someone would want me to clone GC, I would need to take time off from work and would need compensation. But anyway, back to the topic at hand.... |

and if you`re wondering if I could actually clone GC, just ask those players out there who know what "PodWars" is, and they`ll tell you whether or not I could clone GC. |

Cases in points last 3 DM`s i hosted before i left as A were one viper, belial and my donations, second last mine and belial`s and last mine, so yeah never gonna try that again |

99+ day(s) ago | Ok I registered "www.spacefed.info" with godaddy for like $3, so now we`ll have a website where we can put this stuff! There`s nothing there yet, cuz the hosting is "pending setup", but I`m supposed to be able to start putting actual pages up within 24 hours. |

I think people will be mostly honest, particularly when they know that their votes are secret and there will be no repercussion for voting for someone who is not their friend. Plus, even if you get a whole fed who votes for their leader just because their leader tells them too, there`s enough other voters out there that probably hate that leader and would vote for someone else anyway :P |
