So I restarted as a Consumer Goods/ Industry A.Miner... I mean how come there are no consumer goods out there! CG`s = richer guardians and tax based empires right? Or does that also mean food prices would go up and richer food guys too? What if there was am abundance of CGs ALL THE TIME?
Does that mean everyone gets richer because I just started this empire!?

99+ day(s) ago | You are arguing symantics... a tax miner might "not notice" the cost of the Lyth in that they have a huge per turn income that would cover the cost immediately, provided they didn`t already have a sizable fleet. A mineral miner on the other hand would of course have no per turn income so they would go negative on per turn income right away but that does not matter as as soon as they sell some mins they will have cash again. |

99+ day(s) ago | lol nicely put Angst. Yeah I wasn`t saying you shouldn`t go be a CG miner - more power to you. I personally am a mineral miner because, with 3 kids, a full time job (with no computer access), and an average of 4 hours of sleep a night, I don`t have the time and energy it takes to build up a land based empire. This way, all I have to do is battle around on a day off, get a bunch of planets, and then spend my other days off being defensive and clicking "research" now and then as I play with my children :) |

There are no minerals on the market not because of a lack of mineral miners.... take a look at the GC rich list I doubt many of then are NOT miuineral mienrs. I was just a mineral miner. All i had to do is fight and win and i was making 100`s of billions. An mineral miner comes from doing something to make every win worth money its kinda cool. But I`m talking about effects on the GC economy not what type makes more. Taxers do buy food and contribute to that, but CG`s are things like computers, cars, and all that fun stuff that makes like on a Tax empire much happier. I mean that is a guarenteed direct 25% investment at the rate you can comsume it... (buy for 4, sell to your people for 5). But yeah mineral miner is pretty selfish, it`s like showing off how easy it is to make wayyy more money than you and now only do i have just a C3, but You research to 75 and you`re also making 15mil/turn. While everyone else is going broker. It`s like a white american (against chat guidelines to say if im a white male amercian?)
