  FedWars ideas. Comments?

Please build on general discussion and not the stupldlty that has already been shown around the forums.

Yes im pretty sure we all like making our own little presumtions that "O we`ve won this fed war already. Ya we beat these guys already. " ext... Its not real. its not official. theres nothing to determine the win or loss in the games system literally. only us.
i had the idea a while back like..

Say you want to declare war on a fed. there will be options as. how to win or lose the war. for one would be.
Say the members win the majority of battles against the opposing feds after a certain amount of time. say theres options on 1 week long war. 2 weeks. a month 3 , 6 months so on and so forth. then your fed after that amount of time would be the winner of that war and some fed stat cr4p whatever would keep record of it.

It could also be the amount of planets won/loss during the duration of time.
Or power shifts. control of rankings, slaves whatever.

Having a Retaliation fedwar bonus +% on all opposing feds would be nice also. Such as.
Fed A declares war on Fed B! (Normal 200%)
Fed B declares war on Fed A! (Normal 200%)
Fed C declares war on Fed A!
Fed D declares war on Fed A!
Fed E declares war on Fed A!

For Feds C,D, and E; Fed A would have like a 100% or 150% bonus back at the opposing feds.

This would highly induce the amount of action in the entire game. RT or TB. fedwars would be lot more interesting. It will encourage more teamwork battles etc.

But then again in the end this will never happen. just had to get the idea out :/

no 1 trillion to a fed on RT with 1000+ planets, if i can make a few billion as collective on fast in a 100 days and less than 25 planets then you sure as hell can make a trillion on RT in that time so i dont care if you think that it would put newbies off the whole point isnt that this would be for newbies but for established feds

i expect that even on slow M|K probably have access to at least a hundred billion, not much so i stand by the trillion $

actually 10-20 billion is still quite too much. dont forget about the newer players and lower empires that see even 1 billion as being rich as hell. when i started i thought 1 bill was something to brag about untill i got insane income after a few ularges caught.

if it was ever added you could even introduce buffing projects for your own fed and the likes

if it was going to be afed project it would need to be large turn and credits - as lets face is a few billion to someone on RT or ultra is nothing and 10000 turns between a fed of 21 people is only 500 turns each so about a days worth of turns on ultra

it might need to be nearer 100,000 turns and a trillion turns to be enough of a chellenge

cost of each project and affect would differ

you main projects would probably be hmm , i wouldnt say no to fed directed only kalzul weapon ( UW )

same affects as our current but only directed at one fed and less affect on the holder but more cost throught the fed project

Nah i say 10 billion each project, 10000 turns, have like a k class project where u can use the weak k.class ships, or i would enjoy is d.class ships for terrans lol d.terrans or something not-smart like that
I would personnel like a ship advantage where you can make your own ship class but the better it is more money and more turns

fed projects like ones that when you complete give you a bonus each turn - naturally this would have to be a huge investment we are talking trillions of $ and thousands of turns,

or even a fed market project - ie allow feds to have markets within themselves - however there is a potential for this to abused, and this might see huge price hikes on the market but then again it would encourage feds to have a wide variety of races

i like the fedwar bonus, not like it makes a huge deal of diff when you stack. And it can be pretty fun to attack from way below instead of above like most do, really disturbs a player that does.

for Fed`s i`d love to see fed voting back in, but since that`s probably never going to happen then the UC feature of being able to set lieutenants and exchange your own leadership on a whim would be really useful for GC.

You know that they can also change the name of their own federation if they want, by using game cash to do so.


and yes normally i wouldn`t suggest a uc thing here, but those ones for fed`s would be very advantageous for players on GC across all servers without any undue hassles.

I think fed projects would be nice. something that decreased whole fed credits etc. or destroyed outermost planet on top ranking player etc.

ide like fed projects , that require money turns and time , im talking like K hun li like turns and billions of credits , and UW like time , then impliment fed war projects here that will affect the fed ID at war with ( Fed war cannot be changed for the duration )

these projects will also be listed someplace like the UW project is so everyone can watch the war raging :-o

crazy as it sounds i believe this can be done fairly easy if the person coding knows what they are doing. i also believe it would open up a large gap of ` potential `

this gives more purpose declaring war on a fed and activating a project , for you can then say deal 10% damage to something with a project example ( market materials / money )

you can also have numerous methods of a project being destroyed , easiest to code would basicly be the fed leader activating the project and something similar to the UW ( note i said similar not the same )

so one fed declare on another fed when their maru`s got a plunder ready, or a c3 holder gone inactive and automatically wins then, would have to be based on battle wins, planet count means nada ( you could have a 21 man fed beating up a 10 man fed by exploring easy too).

Keep it simple, Fed wars last for fixed amount of time, 7 days
Each fed, in a declared war, has their DP cut by 75% (allows for more attacks)
Loser is the fed that sustains the heaviest planet loss
Winner gets 10% to 50% minerals&cash
The GC should list the winners, losers, and the booty collected!!

Yeah... most of it`s been suggested before. Just sucks that those good ideas are just so much wasted bytes.
