Indeed, the war of the carrots was an interesting time. Although learn`d experts disagree on the exact date, many believe it was when the first CW was successfully activated.

There was a man. A young man, but grown none-the-less. He worked in a modest pizzeria in a small town in a small state in America. He worked there regularly as a part time manager for two years, but one day, his whole life changed.... forever!
While bringing dirty dishes to the rear section of the store for the delivery boy slaves to wash, he noticed an abnormality, an oddly sized cricket sitting in the corner of the room. Thinking nothing much of it, he returned to his duties and the cricket returned to a whole in the wall.
As time past, employees began to notice an increase in crickets chirping from the walls, they were loud and annoying but now one could find them to kill them, so they were forced to bear with it... until one day...
Some HUGE MUTANT crickets came out of the walls, slowly at first, but then more and more, even as the employees slew them, more kept coming, crickets who fed on rat poison.
The crickets eventually overran the complex, destroying its inhabitants, leaving any survivors emotionally scarred and unemployed ....
One of these survivors is here with us today....
One of the survivors has persevered in cricket combat and moved to the Galactic Frontier.
He stands before you know a Guardian of the galaxy!
