Spacetracy 2007-11-22 | | Best income generator | | What type of economy generates the greatest income? I have a commercial based income but i hear that tax based empires and food based empires can make much more money. |

EnderWiggin 99+ day(s) ago | mining is the most profitable economy tpe, but is only insanely profitable if u are A Miner |
OmacronPrime 99+ day(s) ago | it realy depends on your race. The Aspha Miners have -95% income from commercial, but have +150% tax bonus, Terrans are balanced, and can do anything, but less effectively, and different for all the other races. |
StormofBladeZ 99+ day(s) ago | My fav is Commercial. Its the least dependent on market and very stable income.
Sure you need food but id say comm uses 10 ot 25% food compaired to tax. You`ll need high land. explore for 800+ barrens. 700 is a good minimal for turn base. 600 for turnbase too.
Mining is the Best way to get income on RT. Trust me. at least 6 housing then research all mining unless Industry req 5 for missions.
anthraX 1st idea is actually a very good way of mining. You can get Tax income along with mineral generation. BUT you cant just cluster whatever the hell you want and you actually care about your planets.
If yall post excess minerals on RT I buy em up next time i log in. |
AGM94 99+ day(s) ago | Mining research increases mineral gathering rate |
DeiKobol 99+ day(s) ago | Is there anything that does affect mineral gathering rate besides race modifiers? |
AnthraX 99+ day(s) ago | No i didn`t mean one barren would be for tax and the other for mineing. I was just giving a suggestion on a way to save cash. If you max the loyalty and pop on one of your barrens before clustering you will save alot a money. And i didn`t realize that mining didn`t do anything for mineral generation. So i would just dump my research into housing for A. Miner. But like the other said its all in how you want to play. |
DrKiNfEcTiOn 99+ day(s) ago | the greatest income isnt always the best way to go, how often do you play? at what pr range do you want to end up playing in?
also have you sampled some of the races yet? some races you may enjoy playing regardless of the income, like some guards get their jollies off by ruby spamming
cough{ joker } excuse me,, others enjoy full or half stacking, income takes time for any race so take your time and enjoy the game =) |
420Renegade Game-Admin 99+ day(s) ago | Tax generates more income per land than any other income type...But it is dependant on market prices and you need to have max loyal and you have a high base power, etc..
A lot of negatives to it. |
ThEpAkIsTaNIeMpIrE 99+ day(s) ago | miing infrastructure meaning the mining building on a planet |
AGM94 99+ day(s) ago | Mining infrastructure is used only to get ore. You will get the same amount of minerals regardless of the amount of mining you have on a planet |
Spacetracy 99+ day(s) ago | so one barren would be for tax purposes, the others would be mining. That would give some income but a gross amount of minerals. The thing is, does mining infrastructure actually affect the amount of minerals gained? |
ThEpAkIsTaNIeMpIrE 99+ day(s) ago | as much but tax u need that what anthra said |
ThEpAkIsTaNIeMpIrE 99+ day(s) ago | anthra what u telling him tax or mining in mining i dont think land is needed |
AnthraX 99+ day(s) ago | If you really want to have a ton of cash finish all your missions and restart as A. Miner. Put about 10 levels in housing and the rest in Mining, Explore and cluster up 900+ barrens be sure to max loyalty on one of the barrens and don`t grow any pop on any of the others so you save money. Before you know it you will have insane cash flow with a good positive income to support a fairly large fleet. |
ThEpAkIsTaNIeMpIrE 99+ day(s) ago | can make much more CAN its because of the food prices it controlls us if it goes up taxer make less food guys make more goes down we make more food people dont make as much so ur new dont get in that game k
