well first ide like to thank everyone who took part in the event , it certainly was interesting , and well only one fool has complained so far and thats because he didnt get what he wanted * sigh , always one *
but the rest have thanked me and well , i gotta admit impressed me , a few last night even suggested each time it fails , it gets harder , till it succeeds , now add that to bigger winning`s the harder it gets and i think its a pretty good idea , add balancing to that of you can only get a limitted amount of prizes from it per boom ( so for those who hit jackpot, no more till a boom. )
now its completely up to you if you lot if you want to test it out or not , but 24 hours - 1 week gaps between each atempt and increases in difficulty each time ( this includes introduction of NPC ships with its others , possible higher pr , exploration , fleet rebuild , or a mix if it fails numerous times , maybe even some defence from a side kick npc or two if you lot truly do keep him down.
i really dont mind setting up events along this line , and no not only big empires benefit from this , empires have won prizes from this event at 10m - 500k pr for certain things.
only problem is i cant take part with my empire and i want too as it sounds fun to me :`( :`(
feel free to backhand slap me in the face over facts like pulling prizes out of a magic hat umbalances the game or even suggest some things / alterations to the above , flat out refuse it , or want it , just as usual try not to rant and be insultive ect , i am only trying to make this game a little more lively and fun
PS: one other thing ide like to point out is this idea would very likely mean an NPC boom would go off every few months , now i know for my empire that doesnt apeal to me at all and ide try and kick him in the private region myself if i could -_- , but well this kind of idea does sound like alot of fun.

Only i`am a small empire at that time i had max $500 mil.
Attacking the Event player was near to impossible.
So next time if possible add some NPC that are with the Event so smaller players can strike those as well. |

I think both the length of time and the cost to the empire (with regards to what the empire has) should be taken into account... for example, a cost of 5 billion is meaningless to the higher players, but for a player with 500 mill left over after spending that kinda cash... bigger reward, preferably. I would certainly like seeing bigger prizes going to the less established players, though in some of those cases, perhaps borders should be part of the prize... heh. |

99+ day(s) ago | I think the idea of haveing NPC defenders is sound, as it gives poeople at fifferent power levels the ability to participate. Having PC defenders could be a little bit tough as it would be hard to manage prizes for it, but if Asmodi does go into a fed with 20 defenders who are just doing it for the fun of it then that would probably work fine..
Another idea would be to have a couple of NPC UW`s at the some time at differnet levels and see if the lower level ones can keep the normal pr attack restictions (i.e. 130%), or have somebody acticely play them (but wiht limited resources). |

This game doesn`t need prizes if it`s kept fun and interesting.
People spamming and then runing right into newbie protection is not fun and interesting. It`s lame and you not-smarts that do that should be booted from the game because your a detriment to the game. |
