-IN SPECIAL SESSION-
Greetings to all our friends, allies, rivals, and enemies across the Galaxy.
One thing we all share, regardless of race, ideology, technology, or government, is the impermanence of all things. All or our achievements will eventually turn to dust, that is the way of the Universe. The stars themselves must die, as will the Universe itself. No glory, justice, wisdom, or beauty is sufficient to forestall this death indefinitely.
Today I write to all of you to tell you of such an ending: the withdrawal of Cynthelion from Galactic affairs. Over the last several years, our small confederation of free communities has been a beacon of light in a dark and bloody galaxy--an example of the quiet stability which can come through Syndicalism. Now, however, it is time for Cynthelion to return to her roots of self-sufficiency and neutrality. It is time for us to cease troubling ourselves with the rest of the world, and to tend our gardens in peace. Our Commonwealth is now dissolved, our former colonies have been granted independence. We wish them happiness, safety, and stability. We wish this for you all. Soon it will no longer be our place to create or destroy any of these things. |

99+ day(s) ago | well the way it works is that it is frozen until you decide to log in again. So I guess they could do it indefinitely. Just ask an admin. I`ve never done it myself so they`d know the specifics. |

99+ day(s) ago | I`ll be gone for more than a year. NOW you tell me that I can have my account specially frozen? Heh... I dono. Will they freeze an account indefinitely? I have spent a lot of time and money on research.
Ragnarok, I`ve been gearing up to build a big fleet to pwn as many 5mil + players as I can in lieu of the hated UW, as a way to go out with a bang. It took a while to work it out, and I still don`t have the BTCs to build the fleet I want. We`ll see. I already pounded BlindBirds, but he logged on right away, so nobody got out from under him. |

99+ day(s) ago | One final deed is left undone: Cynthelion possesses several billion credits` worth of Galactic currency, which will soon be of no use to us at all, and a highly capable military-industrial complex, which will likewise soon become useless. We intend to expend these resources for the good of the Galaxy by using them all at once, to break the power of as many of the most powerful pirate, slaver, and all-around bully empires as we can. Once we have succeeded or failed in this endeavour, you shall hear of us no more.
Finally, I wish to convey to you all, regardless of your relationships to Cynthelion, what an honour and a grand experience it has been to share a Galaxy with you. Someday in the future it may once again become sensible policy to rejoin Galactic society, but until that distant day, I must bid you all, on behalf of our beloved world and all her many and diverse children, FAREWELL.
