Here is some feedback....Quit changing the game, this is not the game I paid to play, when you are constantly altering it. I am not very satisfied as a consumer. You should get what you pay for, not have someone change it in the middle after you get our money....It is a poor move in my opinion..... |

99+ day(s) ago | For new players to come into the game, GC really need a face lift, updates on balancing/nerfing ships doesn't attract people. But if Stephen wont dedicate staffs to revamp the look of GC, people will just get bored and leave...and if you go to games total and see that UC has 400 players online and GC has 100 odd player online... it doesn't take much to know where the more serious gamers will go first, GC will just end up getting new players who are most likely to be free loaders. It is really a vicious cycle that I believe only an update on the visual element and added functions will break it. Maybe even a new race can be added when the new update is here, to end the Viral Rule on the top ranks. |

99+ day(s) ago | compared to WoW and other games like that, text based games are falling by the wayside due to the `wow gee...look at that i just took that guys leg off!` style gore and graphics.
We all play this game becuase most of the older players were here before all the major other competition was around, now are thus hopelessly addicted. Those players are now starting to leave due to alienation and the game changing to be something completely different to what it was when they played and thus don`t enjoy it as much anymore
The new players may hang around and get hooked, but most of the time get turned off due to either no graphics, hardly any story line, lack of support/corrispondance from the creator except about a new addition to the family and a handout of turn based imbalancing artifacts (no lets not go there...). Another turn off for new players is us...as a whole GC players are very hostile to new players and are more likely to simply say on of the following:
RTFM
STFU newbie
or simply ignore the request for help or just making a smart allic remark that is usually derogitory for the new player.
This turns them off and they go off to play something like runescape, ogame or WoW/Guild Wars (yes I know the games I mentioned will be edited out but don`t really care)
Now OT:
The nerf will be interesting to see how it effects general game play over the next month or so. Maybe not needed and a simple shield reduction/damage reduction or some other thing may of been better, but this way it only impacts the ammount of time you spend building, not forcing you to relearn a new set of shield mods like 6-8 months ago.
Just remember....could of been alot worse, though also better too.

You for example now try to "Appeal to Authority", and as authority you choose well yourself. Its a fallacy in the first place and a very crab.pily executed in the second.... |

99+ day(s) ago | hmmm Cutter, in the last 3-4 years the number of player dropped from 400 to about 100, even without any changes (or more probably BECAUSE of no changes). If one extrapolates this development, thats meany that without changes you are the only player left in another year..... |

Maybe they will come to their senses soon and stop digging, and start climbing out.
My point is made by comparing the number of players before all the changes to the number of players now.
Say what you will, but the vets and those who would have been vets by now have left, and they haven`t been replaced.
Every Admin has pulled this crab, just now its Maru`s turn to powertrip.
Show me an increase in players and I will gladly bow to the changes.
Clearly, that will not happen though. |

Evidently the game needs change or it would have more than 80 players.
