virals can switch there c4 production to argi or comm (preferalably argi as prices are high atm) and miners can switch to cgs or live of the minerals made ......
this then allows food production to come back up and flood market again so taxers can repop... yes i no u`ll make sweet fa from switching ure land but at least u make somthing and u can live rather than being forced to restart........
just my 2 cent on how taxers can survive high food prices..... |

99+ day(s) ago | Its called supply and demand. Theres a shortage of food, and now the price has gone up to deal with it. Its quite simple really.
Tax miners wont be affected really, as the money they make from access minerals will be sufficient to afford all the food they need. Im not so sure about tax virals.
As a Gaurd, the food price doesnt affect me at all. |

99+ day(s) ago | Yep the big suppliers of food are not as active as before and due to the past low food price alot of tax miners/virals have sprung up.
More demand than supply is resulting in a price spike which has crippled the tax virals but the tax miners are still making their profits, right up until it hits the mid 30`s per (think 37 is the break even point or the loss point can`t remember exactly).
There will be more food soon as more people see it as a profitable income style now (it`s as effective for terran to go agri and sell food at 4 per, than to be a comm based terran. But when food is over 4 per agri terran makes more money by a proportional amount). Agri collective, agri terran and agri maru will start to pop up soon/now and get established. Once they are established (read: have some ferts/clusters and a infra level over 40) food will start to drop again in price and the cycle will repeat after a few months of `stability` |
