these are idea`s liked alot by the majority , we have a few who dont like it and make big offencive rants that generally show they dont know a great deal past there own empire etc ( no offence intended , you play the game too so yar ok )
but those who do know what there talking about and suprising alot of those who do but take advantage of high build rates also like this idea , ive had alot of nice pms too about this and some messages upon waking up saying its a nice idea and to ignore the ranting few who dont care about ` the greater good ` , even turnbased empires like this idea so well this is its thread
i dont wanna hear no viral rants , especially upkeep , ive told you well over a hundred times now the only way i can do it is toedit the marauders ship , and thats unfair on marauder , one of the reasons to be that race is low upkeep.

this seems a viral directed comment only , this update has no ill intention towards viral , this is directed at capital ships , that will affect viral the most as they will most likely have most of them ( coincidence )

I personally don`t want this update.
But I have been for leaving the game alone all along (with the one exception of viral upkeep.)
I could even live with the current viral pyth/angel upkeep as long as nothing else was changed.
Maruad`s gonna do what he wants, no need to waste time trying to stop him.
i edit posts to reply to them , then the person can read it , i dont edit the actual post , its a more affective method than making 10 or so replies that apear to be directed no place and make no sense , and enough of this no point presenting an argument crab yall keep coming out with , really starting to rub me the wrong way , if you want it to be like that then so be it ill just fix the game without talking to the players , then you can really whine hardcore over not having a say in the matter

99+ day(s) ago | Might have been said already, but decreasing cap ships build rates will not really alter the balance of the game all that much since it affects almost everyone.
Except for guards (who`ve always been a special race), collectives (who might have a chance to attack without fearing a major counter from +800% 5 minutes later) and virals who RE`d capital ships only (those made a not-smart choice in the first place). |

But on a more serious note I will be disapointed if this happens. I have never really cared too much if someone was stacking or spamming its all part of the game in my opinion. Also I depend on the herc to get out of enslavement on the rare occasion that it happens. So I`ll have to burn time capsules now to be able to get pretty high on fast with starbases, meh. Changing the Nirv build rate seems completely ridiculous, it will greatly weaken terrans. Now if I make a jump and want capital ships up front then I won`t be able to attack as much or I won`t have as many turns left over to add smaller ships :(. I agree with Zenith though that you should make destroyer upkeep lower. If you did that I don`t believe you would need this much. I understand the viewpoint that all these weaknesses will inevitably effect viral and only mildly effect the other races but I have little if no problem battling vrials at the moment, even spamming ones. Sure it sucks whem they have a two stack spam with capitals from two different races but I get over it and attack again. Your right in saying that changing the buildrate of the smaller ships would be much different than this. Though I would agree changing the neutral ship build rate might help but thats a step backwards obviously and would lead to an even longer debate. Though I dislike this idea altogether I won`t stop playing if it goes through or be overly angry. I will just adapt. |

seems I`m not the only one that doesn`t like it , and I didn`t say I don`t like it as a I am a Viral that the only thing that makes is spamming ...
I also don`t understand why have G.Lictor and G.Livid become Guardian ships as the story tells that miners study guardian technology and invented them . Game balancing + using some story line in order to do so , although i also wanted D class D maru and uncapturable that didnt get added , and if it did how viral would go beserk , but honestly it would be a perfect answer and balancing , just unapealing and unloved by viral
his point is im not , not going to add the update because ` you dont like it ` i dont expect anyone to like it , state reasons why , if they are valid they go on a lovely list with all the other reasons why and why not and so on , so when we all stop discussing this it can all be looked at before a decision is made
