Is anything being done to address the viral`s dominance of the game? |

99+ day(s) ago | Fairness in all things guys and atm things are going haywire in this game. Research and planet count have to count for something and also time spent playing too.
If you play for 5 hours every day It would be unfair yto say that an empire who plays for 16 hours a day is overpowered
Hes worked for everything he has and desrves it.. Alter the game too much and you will ruin it.
See how many hoours you guys put in every day. I play on averagte 14 to 18 hours a day here.
As an example they can the guys stateing that virals are overpowered state hoew many hours they play every day ?
Position in the game depends on many factors. research plannets time spent playing and player skill level.
Player skill levels cannot be Hsandicapped like this its silly and will be responsible for ruining the game for all. |

Do you guys really know what your suggestin here. Do we really want another UCRT which is a poor excuse for a war game. Balancing yes but not to favour one race.
I am still dissapointed with the range reduction on the only viral ship. WHile it does make the game more interesting it means now that virals loose if bors hit queens
Thats silly how can the viral flagship now be taken out by queens which every race has.
If the guys doing these mods are not carefull we will have another game where certain races are nerfed by guys from other races. Come on now guys we can all play any race we like here. Already this is not the game i signed up for in the first instance
Normally the changes affect any given race quite drastically. In one instance whilst playing UCRT many years ago the changes ruined the race I was playing which was collective.
In fact the changes made collective unplayable, income was only 1/10 of gaurd income with max research. I left the game in disgust. Not only that the ships were nerfed too. Poor old collective in UCRT was to be no more.
All I say to everyone here is we can choose which ever race we like. Bashing one race just because you l0oose to them a lot is unfair.
Some of these guays are experienced players and desserve theier position at the top. This should not be taken away from them
research should be important too if a new minner empire can have better income and ships than a mature viral empire with max research and lots of planets, I WOULD SAY THAT THIS IS VERY UNFAIR

99+ day(s) ago | dangel 1 fir one dont satand a chance against minner lyth at present and they are similart ships the lyth now is more liike a herc with longer range.
Increasing viral upkeep on marauder ships is going to far atm. The reason I say this is that we cannot afford to spam costly ships like the lyth and herc. So consequently will not be able to compete in the game against rich minners with better ships. |

Why the Kick viral attitude we have already lost range on the two viral ships.
Fairness in all things i would say for all and not stabbing at one race.

99+ day(s) ago | Do i have to yawn this out all over again ? Yeah, fix the maru BS upkeep and the update the RE list already. Good point there from sk8land -- What`s the point of going up so high up in power with cheap spams ? Personally, i rather sit at lower PR`s stacking with the chance of battling against stackers.. and not spammers. In RT, it`s not about the skills, BUT the time you consume on managing your empire. Thus, this is why no-brainers with no skills can build up a decent empire on RT (newbs you don`t wanna talk about). And chess, you should know better we VM players have issues to run in RL and some other factors relating to the game itself, you can`t blame the rest of the feds for the that. Every player has the ability to go up and knock your empires down, given the proper stack and time. Can`t believe i had to pop in and shoot in the forums...
Here`s my suggestion : LOWER the max power cap - easy as that

99+ day(s) ago | I wasnt trying to point out that some of those players are in CC. They are, that is true, but CC is a fed that has had rich virals in it (Im friendly with them, actually). More importantly I just posted that to show what the top 11 looked like. Surprise surprise, its completely dominated by one race. |

Dist has half of its members in VM the whole time. BC has NOBODY IN IT. WW3 and the ripoff Tempest both have nobody. MK is all inactive/VMed. To the rest: All races have lame people that spam, and always, anyone with half a brain can pwn them easily. If nothing else, just build your queens to beat the "n00b virals" and "great stacking miners", because that`s what ALL the ships you`re whining about are weak to. If you know so well that they`re spamming those big ships, it`s not that hard to spam them back with strafez, even taking into account the build rate difference. Sure, queens die easy. Sure, spamming back makes you the same as them. Whining about it in public makes you look bad, and lowers everyone`s opinion of you. |

Almost all virals spam like crazy. Learn how to counter them and youll be set. But viral still are way too good. |
