Why queens?
This implies something about the nature of both fodders and runners... obviously, the queen has better hull than the runners, so much more endurance. Perhaps...
Perhaps runners are the consorts of the queens, and together the fodders are the eggs of future runners/queens? But since the shell of the egg is so freakin` tough, they use them in battle to soak up enemy fire sometimes, instead of letting them hatch and because the offensively potent, but defensively useless, queens and runners. *nods* |

fodder is a large generally hard to kill ship that will distract enemy stacks from hitting other stacks without suffering heavy losses
its use depends on your taste / preference , myself would only use this in top stacks if i expect a spam they could laugh off while my lower stacks could trash theres dealing out more damage than i hopefully would take resulting in a win my side... :-/ |
