  Updates in a Nutshell  

ok from the feedback ive got ill try to make it short and simple

M lyth buildrate decrease to 2
G lictor Hull Decrease 5k ( & / or ) Absorption & ECM Shield drop 5% each
H Man O War Deletion
Collective R.Dread Class replacement ( still in discussion )

Ship Name: M.Chlor
Currently: Little overpowered / too good
Suggestion: removal of 50-100 Energy Damage ( i prefer 50 )

Ship Name: T.Empereur
Currently: Weak compared to other ships
Suggestion: Absorption Shield +30%
Energy & Kinetic Damage +500
Scanner alterion to about 6k pr


nothing too crazy but this should be ok.

( eternus thankfully had some old conversations stored that contained chlor and T emp so ill post those up in more detail above )

man its gonna be hard to build lyth n stuff in turnbased servers. since most of these ideas and suggestions apply to RT a lot. its much easier in RT to build ect...

and ya i agree with pandy about the missions

i think that lyth build rate down to 1 is a bit brutal :|
i think 2 is fair enough ......
i think leave the lictor its only good at high pr counters on carefull other than that it strikes me as a glorifed fodder :P

Why aren`t there any missions updates, something to attract players, fix the problems in current missions and to give missions to races that don`t have them. yes because you know i can do those o.O?

the biggest problem as I see it isn`t the ships its that the players have nothing to do after they`ve changed race into something they`ve paid for unless they go guard.

and why dont` gc get 4 Acts of missions when at this time most of the races on UC have 5 Acts.

Make missions that take time to do, the longer you keep players here performing mission tasks the more you can sink your claws into them and make them never to want to leave because of all the work and effort they`ve put into their races doing them.

Well, I would not mind seeing a shield reduction and a -50 damage reduction on the chlor... it really is too spammable. Shield REDUCTIONS are good. That should help keep it from looking like UC. :P

Im not dropping them DM, im asking for a modification to the ships modifiers, its defensively impossible to get 3 on a turnbased server at 130% if you include this Dreadnaught.

I agree with Omegian like I said on the other thread, bringing this ship in will mean one or 2 of the others will need to be altered. Like galleon range lowered, or weapon pr, or something similar.

if you`re gonna nerf the lictor`s hull, maybe you should buff it`s attack.

Well, if one considers, that the lictor does low damage, it is its purpose(!) not to die easily. Currently it is quite easy to win against lictors (even with queens on aggressive) but is requires already much to actually whipe it. However it is very far from beeing impossible to whipe a lictor stack.

If you want a lictor, which is easily whipable and does no damage, then this sounds not good to me, irrespective of the fact, that i currently play miner......

Species, lictor blocks virtually all attacks, that is the problem. No drop of other collective ships omeg, when was the last time you played collective? Do you think 42k build rate of 1 ship is too much? I don`t think so. + build rates are not that great anyway compared to all races

yea, good idea, the lictor makes so much dammage, then it should not have also big hull, dropping the kinetic shields does not even weaken him significanly, common, which ship uses kinetics at all, well except herc, nirv, angel, pyth, tourn, ruby,.... and well, miner have so many ships to block kinetic attacks like well, the well, the aeh, the kryo yea, well at least as long as the attacker not also uses missile like hercs, nirvs, pyths, dangles......I say a 1:4 pr/damage and a 1:1.2 pr/hull ratio must be enough for miners....

Ok so much for making fun, now serious, if the lictor has too much stamina, what about the herc (not to mention huns)? If the Lictor has to much build rate, what about d.angles and pyth?

i would suggest Lictor drop more on kinetic shield or even just 0% on both kinetic n chiemical shield. make the kinetic weakness more obvious to suit the G class. missile shield drop 5% is just ok. droping the hull will decrease the pr, so in general the Lictor will have higher dmg per pr.

Lyth, no idea. we will after it implemented

Chlor remove 100 weapon. on other side, perhpas it should have 1 negative shield mod?

MoW, yes, delete it. nothing much to consider :P

a new R class ship to replace HoW, if u dont like Dreadnaught class. we can always have Battleship class. although Battleship class will have less pr n hull, but keep in mind that it will make Collective more aggressive, look on Marauder :P

T.Emp, i had wait the improve since 2 years ago. also, can we have a swap with kinetic n missile shield on T.Kalieum? :)

meh ide still rather it just be a starbase that kills everything then starts losing a few of its own , a dread isnt something a collective needs or should have :-/
