2nd the budget for the next star trek film is whats the word...............A blank cheque so to speak meaning the studio told the writers wetie story doesnt matter cost as they want to reinvent the franchise so pore alot into this movie to get long term rewards even if loss alot on the movie |

Well, Star Wars is a film, but Star Trek is a series...
you cannot possible compare them, however Star Wars costed more =) then Star Trek,
cos it`s a film, therefore Star Trek has made more money =), and Star Trek has multiple series, where Star Warz, has 6 films, (3 of them terrible out of date, and 3 of them great but totially diffrent from how gorge lucas wanted them, he never wanted a mushy film, like the last 3 star warsz are... he didnt want a film thats PG, or 12a he wanted, voilence, killing, and death, huge fights with light sabers, throughout the galaxy, massive crusiers attacking planners n stuff :P

cos you can watch it for longer, star wars somthing like 12hours, while Star Trek lol
