From another galaxy, the Conformers are bringers of peace through force. When the Ultimate Weapon was set off, they detected the massive energy readings from far away and set out to calm the evident turmoil in the area. So far, few have complied with their call to `Conform' to their wishes, and so the Conformers as they have been named by the Terran species have been obliged to put the full power of their fleet behind their mission.
In an early Conformer versus Terran battle, the Terrans were quite surprised to find that their missiles were effectively diverted off course and harmlessly into space. Further battles revealed the Conformers ability to diffuse energy beams, effectively stopping them nearly as well as the Guardian race. The Conformers Chemical compounds were also devastatingly cutting through hulls and breaching ships, where the Conformers would come aboard... and Conform. |

thats the guardian race`s job, find these guys another hobby...liek collecting space dust or something...collecting the scattered energies and finding a cure for the guardian /DArkMaru mutations...finding a way to limit the viral population possibly? give them a job no one else has...
on a further note...the enslaving part...thats bogus. whats to stop people like saga doign that just to have a HUGE fleet list, and not have the powerrating?
the rac eseems neat, and the new captuer ability is quite unique...fix a few tweaks and it`ll be a fun race :) although, it seems to be too much of a collective/guard mix for my comfort... |

Special:
Can `Conform' opposing ships instead of capturing them.
How it works:
Just like Capture, only opponent keep his ships.
Conformed ships go into a different stack under the name `Conformed Nirvana' (example)
Conformer player sees the ships in his manage fleet screen but can't disband them.
Conformer player can free (return them to normal) them however.
Upkeep is normal. Conformer player doesn't pay for upkeep.
10% chance for each conformed stack coming to Conformer's defense if Conformer is attacked by a non-Conformer player (except starbases and scouts).
Conformed Starbases will fight for a Conformer attacking the owner of the Conformed Starbases. Conformed Scouts will remain neutrally on the side of the attacking Conformer and can't be destroyed.
Conformed ships will not fight against a Conformer player. In the event a Conformer empire attacks or is attacked by a player with Conformed ships, the Conformed ships will fight for the Conformer.
Player with Conformed ships may disband them with no repercussions (but there is the bonus of having two stacks of Tyr and Nirvana and Hercules for example).
Conformer ships can't be Conformed.
If Conformed ships are captured (by Collectives or Viral) they are still Conformed. They can't be reverse engineered.
Conformed ships gets +5% attack bonus when attacking a UW holder.
Conformer player can use the scanner rating from his Conformed ships to explore for new planets.

Conformers can't do Retaliation attacks, but can be retaliated against.
Conformers can't attack someone with a lower power than them.
Conformers can enslave (and enslaved empires ships are all conformed now) but Conformer gets no tribute from slave empire. |
