I`m a new player. I explored and built up my income, but I failed to research or build warships. As soon as I popped over 5,000 PR Mauradian enslaved me. My question is what should I do now? My mission tells me to build up my power rating to 10,000 by building destroyers. What balance of ships should I build over the next few days/weeks? Help is appreciated. I`m really enjoying this, but it`s overwhelming at times. |

99+ day(s) ago | Here`s better one: Restart your empire, then reasearch: 1.) all the ships you can, 2.) housing up to level lets say 5, same as mining, 3.) after that pump everything into commercial. After you hit commercial level lets say 30 and have most of the ships researched, you can come out of dp. Until you haven`t done all of above, stick with 4 planets max, just to stay below 5000 PR. |

99+ day(s) ago | as for being Enslaved by that Annoying Player Named maraudian , just climb 10x his Power rating to Declare independance from your slave section , you can then counter atack him if you ever see him
but remember to research some ships 1st |

Help & Manual Races
- When starting as a different race or any race check the race modifiers you'll find that the more positive modifiers are the best ways to make cash for that race. Try to pick only 1 type of infrastructure usually but some races like aminer give you a little more choice as a tip the Below is how to start for a terran and the relevant choice for this first race you will be.
- Research all ships so that if you are enslaved you will have starbases to break free. (keep in mind a lot of slavers will let you go if you ask nice) , at this point I would recommend researching up until at the very least up to Planetary Cluster 2
- Look at the Planets on the help & manual .. you will notice that forests and u fertiles are the best providers of food, if you get one of those use it soley for food to feed you empire. Until then make enough food to feed them as market prices are high on rt and typically lower on other servers, and when starting out simpler to make it, as well as cheaper. any food below $10 could be considered cheap
- To see what you empire consumes and produces click on income, and from there production of food and goods
- Some terrans prefer to just research agri, which is a fast way to make money on real time but not as effective on turn based though some older empires who control food market have much success and get to richest list, if the food market holds and if people buy it when you need it. It's a choice thing for terran
