99+ day(s) ago | It`s a nice addition I think. There are two ways these work:
1) Global paids. So a few chip in, and everyone benefits, until they dont. So it`s your choice entirely to rely on this and if you want to contribute or not. You should. But it`s designed around the fact that simply not everyone can for legit reasons, and so we have it now where everyone is paid. Cool. This is perfect.
2) Normal Paids. These still exist and will continue. Some have taken to having normal paids and still donating to Patreon. Aren`t those guys nice? And if the monthly goal isnt met, they do not lose benefits. But those who choose to pay their own way and donate help everyone.
Tl;dr version, it still isnt pay to win, but the few who do pay benefit all and should encourage all to donate st least something. $1, $5, doesnt matter. It all helps. You see the results. *points to the banner* |

not all contritube to the future some are even retiring now so that will go down but its around 5 dollars a month for everyone.
less if you are UK or europe as the dollar sucks against the Euro and the Pound so if you like the updates go for it. |

99+ day(s) ago | It was perhaps a bad example Baa. Maybe I get lucky and win some massive cluster off some Guard that I decide I want to keep. Rather than being completely dependent on the market and food prices (not to mention have a base PR double any Guard due to the double pop Colls have), I want to re-allocate some of the housing into agri on that planet/cluster to be self dependent?
My point being is that I can see the positive out of it for those who don`t enjoy restarting and setting up an empire every month or two. Plus, having those 100 days or so, and high penalties for using it, will mean players have to really think about their strategies. I think developing complexities that can be taken advantage of by wise players is a good thing to have in games - too simplistic and it takes away the fun.
But to get back on topic, I`m happy to lend financial support, but I`m not in the position to set up a monthly payment. I`m sure others will chip in with time :) |

i underatand your point about food but think about this, the only reason food went to 20 was lets say a taxer vmd for a week, without u knoledge and many others, every 1 that makes food but currently doesnt changes to making food, the player comes bck from vm, your atuck agri for 100 days making no money, what u gunna complain about? 100 days is too long neef it i need to change back to plunder so i can actually make money cause food aint selling at all... |

99+ day(s) ago | I`d like a way for being able to change infra. For new players being restricted to having to do certain research to do missions may not be the best way to play certain races long term for those players.
Having a way to adapt to certain situations work well for me as well - think if food went to 20+, I could expensively switch to agri as collective to make the most of it rather than being restricted to just plunder/tax - especially as tax doesn`t make money when food is over 7.
Sure, it requires some heavy stipulations and restrictions - once every 100 days of empire age, costs a lot of turns/money, removes 5% of infra research each time it`s used. But it`s a heck of a better idea than having to restart when you`re three weeks into an empire.
So there we go, that`s at least me who wants it added in, even if I wouldn`t need to use it as my current race. |

bring back the special project, where you can re-arrange research
it was a special project, that allowed the player to change his research only once, but it was great for all those newbieies who screwed up by reseaching minerals when there a terran :p
