Jesus christ, I never said it had to stay a paid feature. Again, my point was simply that just because UC does something doesnt mean its going to destroy all fun in the game.
There are dozens of simple quality of life features UC has that are purely better in every way than GC. Im not talking things like unlimited infra, ministers etc - But things like a kho shield that actually helps you, a better shipyard, a more advanced UW, 3 Fed leaders instead of 1 (1 guy cant be online all the time to let people in), high (lol) graphics mode for people who dont want to stare at a black screen all day.
Some things some people wont use, like a better graphics mode - Ill stick with low graphics just because tabbed play allows for slightly faster actions in cases where you need to move fast (uc has more of these, gc doesnt typically require that type of speed). But when it comes to keeping newer players around more than 2 minutes, yeah, a higher graphics mode is EXACTLY the kind of thing you need.
Im not suggesting we bring OP over or remove all negative ship modifiers, but UC has a lot going for it that gc doesnt have. We have to remember UC was basically like a GC 2.0 for Stephen. Sure it has additional features that might be as troublesome as Gordos, and you COULD buy things like artifacts so there was a somewhat P2W element at one time, but the core game is basically just an upgraded gc. |

On the low graphics version (assuming you have a paid account) you can build 6 stacks at once (6 stacks being max on UC).
But no, UC sucks so we wouldnt want minor convenience on GC.
If you havent played the game long enough to know how to build ships on UC, stop dungting on it for lols |

Admit i would like to see improvements. Some just go to far haha & break the classic.
You`ll still find me playing original Mario cart, you wont find me playing the newer ones. Probably would quit space crack once the classic parts of it die out. |
