Due to recent Ultimate Weapon activity, food prices have soared once again.
Higher than normal ambient radiation levels, a common effect of UW activity, have had wide reaching effects on agricultural processes galaxy-wide.
Currently, the high radiation levels have also affected solar output, and has caused symptoms among the field workers. Symptoms rage from lethargy to general malaise. Solar output has decreased by 20% as well, shortening the growing season.
These effects have impacted current food pricing. The price of food items are as follows:
Corn - $12
Beef - $13
Wheat - $23
Barley - $24
Hops - $33
Fruits - $40
Chicken - $9
420 has been completely rendered ungrowable until radiation levels decrease, as 420 is extremely sensitive to UW radiation. We expect levels to return to normal within a week to 10 days. After which, more 420 can be planted.
