SPARTAN240 2018-03-09 | | Market Idea | | Limit each player to buying a max of 20% of anything.
Thus someone post 10 million minerals of something, each player is limited to being able to only buy 2 million of that mineral. And allows the other 8 million minerals being able to be shared with 4 or more people.
This also prevents a single rich player from buying out the market or abusing the food market by raising the price single handily. |

KnightOfBaa 99+ day(s) ago | that still means who ever buys the first bit gets the most again if he waits 5 secs and buys another 40% |
GalacticMercenaries 99+ day(s) ago | I Love that idea |
Darkn3ss 99+ day(s) ago | maybe 40% at a time...with a 5 second in between timer. |

How about you just enact a limitation on buying for anyone who has over x amount already stored. That way the guy with no goods can buy out a few full stacks, but the guy with 7 billion cant buy 3 bil more right away.
Im not sure that this is a necessary change, but if you really wanted it in place I think basing it off players current stores + what they have on market would be the way to go about it. |
Asmodean 99+ day(s) ago | The other issue I see is storage of goods. There is only limited space for things like food for instance. |
americanministry 99+ day(s) ago | This would cut market transfers by 1/5 as another positive. I like the theory, dunno if there are enough players to do 20% think about it from a seller`s point of view they may not be able to sell their goods which in a fair market would have sold right away especially on TB servers. 50% might be a decent compromise. |
KnightOfBaa 99+ day(s) ago | just make it so its 20% of the cheapest stack and 100% of stacks at any greater price |
Asmodean 99+ day(s) ago | It could be tweaked such that they can only by 20% of a stack, but still be able to buy 20% of stacks pending. They could max but they wouldnt buy anything out. |
Slaudomy 99+ day(s) ago | i get Spartan`s point, but for races that need food and goods more frequently, they would still need to be able to max food/goods |
Sandstorm 99+ day(s) ago | What about the tax vitals who have to buy food and goods? Never being able to max food would be kind of ridiculously annoying |
