obviously ideas are
fed war update-time limit fed wars option, different type of fed wars such as from another game, a fed takes certain amount of damage (either PR or planets and loses the fed war)
Other ideas would be a fed war type could mean you can only hit people in the fed war for a week?sounds challenging but this update would only work if there was a larger player base.
Federation benefits Now I have a idea of a federation bank. Purposes would be open to suggestion but a federation bank could be people can put cash in but not remove it, the fed leader decides what its for.
For instance new players can be bought some minerals from the fed bank reserve or players low on minerals.
Fed bank can cut the cost of infra levels past 100 (a cap would be needed)
Federation transfers of minerals this I suspect will be contentious unless I explain fully. This would not be at cheap prices. This would be at normal or slightly higher rates or lower than market depending on player feedback. For example each federation will have miners but posting on the market means anyone can get it. In essence this creates a separate trade function where say player a has little of one mineral, player two provides. this would also be subject to a cap due to abuse potential, say a certain amount per week or day etc.
other ideas for federations would obviously be a way of live chat but that would probably be to hard to do.

feds under 5 members i think since they cant declare war shouldn`t have fed war declared on them |
Thunderstruck 99+ day(s) ago | I think some quality of life improvements would be preferable to me - for instance, fed war ranking list to only show warring feds, or an indication on the rank list of who is in what fed. Could be another column with fed name, could be a fed tag idea, could be fed flags Like uc, anything really. |

jessika 99+ day(s) ago | oh i dont want a limit on players per fed just make it so that "micro" feds can declare war with less than 5 members and have most the player base to attack as a result of being in such a tiny fed.
but beyond that what can be done for fed objectives... and the time limit is a good thing too.... like if a fed declares war they have one week or two to get attain an objective for either more time or a decisive advantage granting victory... maybe the fed bank for credits and mins could be a part of the wager for going to war?
if federation a defeats b then they get 10% of b`s bank added to their own but if the objectives are not met in time they forfeit 10% to b?
i know its a different game but world of warcraft had a useful bank system.... equivalent would be artifacts, mins, cash with a limit to daily withdrawal. WOW had a rank system so that the leader could control what the newbies could access vs what a proven member with rank could pull. |

But if there`s a 5 player limit players who don`t use live chat will think the fed is boring or inactive also, hence a live chat function for feds in game or alliances eg 2 feds allied one chat instead of people using skype or discord or worse people who don`t use them for real time talk as Pms can be slower |
jessika 99+ day(s) ago | I really like the objectives to a fed war. Thats probably my favorite. Following that having rewards and penalties for said fed war.
Having a bank or internal resource system would be nice to make a fed more useful. Unfortunately im finding being in a large fed means less people to attack and be attacked by. I think an ideal fed, givin the current player base, would be 5 members.
My idea is to allow feds with five or less members to declare war. I think certain races that thrive on combat like marauders or collective have more to gain from being in a small fed that keeps plenty of attack options open yet still offers a partner or two for common defense.
I think if the player base were 100, 5 feds of 20 would be much less dynamic than 20 feds of 5. Alot more battling would be goin on. |
DarthCaedus 99+ day(s) ago | forgot to post winners of fed war could get benefits such as artifacts, or a paid for a week or reward in planets or minerals. Just something to make fed wars interesting and more worthwhile
I also welcome suggestions for additions to fed bank. It is a function in other games for different things like buying things or upgrading things but GC may not suit all those ideas. |
