99+ day(s) ago | i read here about 80 percent of the server. not true.perhaps it was 80 percent this time but not next time. people supported as slaud was a friend or did not oppose as saw so many supporters and thought its not worth the effort. next time a uw is attempted alot of people may support or oppose because the person is not their friend in the LCPR rabbies federations.
for me I will likely oppose any UW in the next 6 months regardless of who tries it after that well I will see. and maybe this will kick the inactive vacationers to get back soon ^^ 30 people in vacation is near half of RT and makes less targets = less fun |

Also when you have a massive alliance of 80 percent of the server that doesn`t do anything, of course even UWs are going to be boring. Either recognize that this is a game and spilt the alliance to lively things up or don`t complain when you reap what you sow, a dead game. |

99+ day(s) ago | Ren, I think you were for half of the time as I recall in the last 12 hours or so there was a hit or two from you. ToN, sure it was not the best, but then again I had a couple of people hitting me with dineros pre-UW and building so I had to rush it otherwise it would have been better I think. I am not sure on the 70% active people part, as I don`t have the logs/excel files now to see what the headcount looked or to confirm that. |

99+ day(s) ago | Still beat my prediction by 180 mil pr. Next time I will want to trade places and let you get hit for 46 hours straight like my UW. I think that was the last time there server took their gloves off and actually used up every resource they could. |

You are correct there were about 3 50 mil pr hits, and i was hoping for more opposition. However, I have to hand it to some of the dedicated empires that were attacking me, they seemed to coordinate their hits pretty well. I was expecting more people to take the gloves off and go after me, but i get that it was a pretty daunting task especially considering all the support i had. I was hoping that RT would come up in arms against me a little more than it did, as I am hoping that there are still enough active empires to keep RT from being wholly one-sided.
And yeah, i was making money even at normal prices up until like 500-600 mil power. I was making about
3 mil food per turn which is alot for a Maru. I have to agree with you Sib, I hope to have more opposition in the future
Definitely owe my success to ToN and my defenders. I got up here on my own, but they kept me safe while i was doing so.

99+ day(s) ago | Yeesh, not even a dent in the UW. Here I was hoping ToN or AA would rebel and use their mass arti stores for fun. Congrats Slaud on the UW, that one was a walk in the park compared to my RT one a year ish ago.
I`m going with that 80 percent of the server is aligned and it will take a couple of years for it to fade. |

99+ day(s) ago | servers not dead its just taking a break. normal service will resume shortly. and perhaps if 30 or so empires were not in vacation (i know real life sucks balls) the server would have made it harder (thats what SHE SAID) but anyhow.

As Sarek pointed out, I hope this is not a picture of the state of the RT server. For a long time ppl have claimed TB servers dead because of their onesidedness, but with this UW supported by 80% of the high PR empires it looks as if that state has come to RT as well. I didnt pay much attention, but it seems to me there were less than a handful big hits (+50mil PR) on the UW... and small hits on a +1bil fleet is just a waste of time, as Slaud obviously had the capacity to rebuild. How much food did you produce Slaud, it seems you had a massive income all along the build?
Congrats to the defenders too, I tried to get up in during the building process, as this is by far the easiest (and only in the case of such a massive supporter group) way to kill a UW, but ToN kept being very persistent with both arties and online time, which made it very difficult as I had to deal with several others before getting up in PR. And during the whole week Slaud was building I didnt see anyone but Mompy build up, so Im guessing either everyone was allied/neutral to the UW, wanted a UW for the server, or simple didnt care at all.
Congrats Slaud, but I hope to see a little more active opposition to your massive alliance in the future. |
