99+ day(s) ago | Well I think there very few people who want artifacts to stay the way they are, and KnightofBaa is right in that afte rmaxing infra digging one of the only way to burn turns. But I feel like the amount of players who quit this game because of artifacts is doing a lot of damage to a game that needs all the active people it can get. You already have two other wise active people saying arties are why they quit in this thread alone.
Understandably Badwolf has a lot going on in life and isn`t being paid for this and I am not a coder, never mind a soon to be decade old code kind of coder so I have no idea how hard it would be to make an changes, but clearly tweaks are needed.
Gords eliminate the high stake/high reward of having big clusters/being non explorableable as such having to fight/burn turns. Historias/dino have a place in the game, and in all honestly it wouldn`t be fair to just waste all the time and effort TON and his pals have put into digging, but there has to be a better way to handle this. I just wish I knew what. |

I used to hate them, but as soon as BW made it so the dig times are far more accessible, nobody really has a good excuse not to dig for them.
I know a lot of people support removing artifacts entirely, but to me thats just pushing the game in the wrong direction. Im much more in favor of maybe fixing what we have, improving the system in one way or another, than just slashing a system from the game. |

I want to lose due to a lack of skill, or a lack of luck, not because something that I can`t really control. That`s not unreasonable to want, is it? |

99+ day(s) ago | So in other words the fact that those who go guardian, and the eariler the better, are the people who will win because guardian is designed as a OP race that is constantly cash strapped. But gords of course make it so that guards no longer need to worry about cash. What the point of playing any other race again then? Do we just admit this game battling system is irrelevant then? Guards can`t UW so what the point of digging if Artie`s are for UWs. |

Sure you could argue skill is a factor, but on RT, it is who has the most artifacts and established empires that will win. Jammer UWing often only works so much, that can easily be mitigated with how RT currently is stacked. |
