1) as a Coll you have to win the battle
2) while ships may be captured, they may end up destroyed. This is not shown in the attack log but it does happen.
It isn`t so much a bug, as the way in which the attack system works. If you haven`t, read EE`s guide to attacking located in the New Player Help Thread. This gives detailed explanations on how the battle system actually works and the factors at play.
The Capture Ship ability is complicated, it has caused issues in the past. A moment of nostagia brings to mind the original D. Modi starbase belonging to the Dark Marauder race... this ship had a 1500% capture ship ability which tended to break the battle system during the battle... caused too many problems and it was eventually nerfed to what it is today.
The important thing to remember here is you are never guaranteed the ships you capture....

2. Did you have a chlor stack that died in your fleet?
Both are reasons not to capture. |
