I was just attacked 12 hours ago & the guy is now in VM?
Do we have new VM rules ???
And i am having a hard time finding game update information & what dates they occurred at. |

When i noticed he was in VM he hit me only 12 hours ago. Prompting this post.
Guess some research needs to be done into this. Loopholes like this could become an issue.
I wonder if Admins are going to post any punishments to abusing this loophole & when this might be fixed. |

99+ day(s) ago | Nobody from our fed appears to have hit him. Odds are he hit people, was desperate for borders and, out of desperation, jumped into VM. Not sure he realized that would happen. |

99+ day(s) ago | I dont believe this is a new thing. It makes more sense that it was bad timing and he was put in DP near the same time he VM`d. And a restart would do this as well.
There has been some discussion about counters being listed but the empire couldnt use them. That, BW has stated is a display issue. You`d need to look through your logs and find out if the listed counter is still valid.
Feedback is important... every new update or code tweak has the chance of creating bugs and anomalies so bringing them up for investigation helps alot. |

99+ day(s) ago | Based on my own personal experience with the `new` VM, I am unable to leave VM early with less than 48hrs left on it. Granted 24 of those are standard DP. It gives me a nice error stating that "Not enough time remaining" or something similar, I dont recall the exact wordage..
However, you can activate VM anytime you want, but if you attacked someone within 24 hours, the VM will not start until those 24 hours elapse. But if he was put into DP right after he hit, the VM will start 24 hours after his last attack, the DP will be in place before that begins.
I don`t know that for sure, not withour BW clarifying how exactly that works, but that`s my simple brain trying to make sense of it... Kinda silly, but not sure if it`s actually a bug. |

But there are a few consequenses with the new updates I dont know if the staff has thought about. For instance, if someone get histed, then it if obvious for everyone else, since they get the "vm" tag when you click on their empire. And (this is just a thought, dont know if thats how it works) if you can hist someone into VM (just negative turns, which is not too hard) does the empire no longer count in the top 5? Because then you can exploit the top 5 bonus by histing higher PR empire into negative turns and thus tecnical VM. |

99+ day(s) ago | Nah something is wrong here. The VM shouldnt kick in before 24 hours after you hit someone... this guy (im assuming its the same) hit me as well and now he is in VM less than 24 hours after. This is a bug as I see it. |
