I think this would do wonders to stimulate the economy on slower servers and guarantee at least SOME minimum level of income for producers. Especially for folks who produce food. |

And to go off of MastaKilla`s point, if we lose the ALREADY LOW player count we have, what good will that do us? I remember when Omegian blew up the server a certain food producer restarted. Food shot up. I couldn`t count how many Virals were in VM. No turns leads to less activity.
As for the black market idea, correct me if I`m wrong here, but, and this is going off the assumption that we are addressing minerals here, wouldn`t adding a feature like that lower the want (or need) to sell on the real market? The product sells, they make money, but then others have to pay even more money that NOBODY will ever see again for the same stuff you could`ve sold on the market. Tax miners kinda exempt from that statement but I`m sure you understand what I mean. |

If this should b done, the selling price should be very low. Like 50 for minerals and maybe 1 for food, because it shouldn`t in any way be competitive to commercial income.
But I am somewhat positive to the idea because with the current low player base the servers become stagnant when ppl can`t sell their food/minerals for cash to fight. The problem is, that the economy too dependent on a few big empires. Like on normal, where food is extremely overproduced in contrary to slow/ultra and fast when Wing and Deep isn`t in VM where food is scarce. When ppl can`t use turns they lose the incentive to play. |
