EphemeralEternity 99+ day(s) ago | i assume this happened during the second wave, and that pyths never got an attack due to the fact that the chlor died during their attack on pyth, so the next stack that attacked pyth became the target of pyths attack that round which isn`t a bug or an error it`s just how the battle system was made to work. in a perfect senario ships like pyth can kill up to 6 stacks a battle i do believe if you are using that many ships which lack no retal.
example: pyth vs sword, all sword die attacking pyth before pyth attack, pyth then uses it`s attack on another stack, pyth is then flanked by a ship that lacks no retal, pyth fires back on that one
wave two b. sword vs pyth all b. sword are destroyed during their attack on pyth before pyth can attack, pyth then again chooses another stack to attack, yet again another ship that lacks no retal flanks pyth, then also returns fire on that stack.
and as to my knowledge as far as i`ve seen a stack lacking no defense may only return fire on one flanking Stack that lacks no retal per wave of battle
so even if it were a pure pyth spam with no dummy stacks vs a 10 stack of ships that lack no retal, 6 would should still be the maximum amount of stacks pyth could attack
